We had the opportunity to give Prosper, the Chief Park Warden of Volcanoes National Park, his first VR experience yesterday!

Prosper is a veritable legend in the conservation world. He’s been the Chief Park Warden for 14 years and has played an instrumental role alongside the Rwandan government and partners like The Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund] in reviving a crashing mountain gorilla population.

Prosper has also played a big part in our various filming exploits with gorillas dating back 2 years, assigning us guides and gorilla groups alike. We showed him the work we produced for Visit Rwanda], ironically allowing him to experience telepresence with mountain gorillas while sitting in the park itself!

Our BTS team here interviewed Prosper as part of our forthcoming documentary about Habitat XR in Rwanda which culminates in the Ellen Campus of the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund.
