did you ever think about your vows after you recorded them?

many of the couples i officiate for choose to commemorate their vows in different ways. some choose to turn them into decor, others write them on acrylic and keep them somewhere safe, a lot choose to write them in beautiful notebooks to cherish.

i offer vow coaching and proofing in almost all my packages. i’ll help you still sound like you while helping you choose the words you might have never thought of to express your love for one another.

today’s is The Colby Hill Inn in Henniker NH!

if you’re looking for the best venue food, hands down i have never had anything better, which is saying a lot because a grew up with a chef as a dad 👨‍🍳

the owners Bruce + Jeff took care of the finest details, which heavily influenced my own business. in the pandemic they gave full refunds to their couples who had to cancel, and honestly it was that detail that made us book our own wedding there.

their beautiful barn was the perfect rustic backdrop, they custom made menu items for us, they hand picked decor that perfectly matched our flowers, and did I mention they have GOATS!?

what more could you ever want?

ya girl has been on the grind 🤘

i’ve got some amazing couples under my care right now and it’s been go go go getting to know their love stories, creating their scripts + getting myself ready to become an army chaplain.

thank you all for supporting my journey. i got back from my first of two trainings before i can commission and i’m waiting to hear about my second one.

what does this mean for you?

it means that soon, part of my military job will be learning and executing how to give my couples an amazing experience as their officiant, a spiritual advisor and caregiver.

no matter what faith, spirituality, or higher power you ascribe or don’t ascribe to, i’m here to help you create the ceremony of your dreams.

thanks to some GENEROUS birthday donors we have officially surpassed the halfway point of our fundraiser!

for the past two months i have been fundraising to give away completely funded ceremony packages (and music lessons, dog & babysitting hours) to military families.

coincidentally, i also just gave away the very last military wedding package under these funds, which means the waitlist for military couples starts NOW!

I am beyond blessed to be doing what gives me life. making ceremony dreams come true and bringing two people together will always be something that gives me so much joy.

friends, if you had this reminder in sticker form, where would you stick it?

I’ve literally been yelling this to myself ever since I heard & speak this truth.

I’m thinking of creating stickers to fundraise the rest of my goal (we’re almost half way there!) for my seminary tuition, and in turn I donate my time to military families for wedding ceremonies, baby and dog sitting and beginners music lessons.

IT’S A BLESSING TO BE A BLESSING

why am I fundraising to give military couples completely free ceremonies?

isn’t a discount “good enough?”

instead of raising my prices for all my couples drastically to support the population I feel very called to serve, I’m giving other the opportunity to be a part in something bigger.

taking part in gifting something so special to a family in the making that has sacrificed so much is one of the biggest blessings you could ever gift.

the reactions I get from military couples when they are planning their weddings, still maintaining their professional careers (in and out of the military) while also trying to enjoy their engaged season is amazing. to take this huge load off their shoulders and then continue to guide them through it all into a flourishing marriage gives me life, and I want to give the opportunity to those who are able to bless, a REASON and a WHY to bless.

a military couple has to plan their wedding around their active duty or reservist drill schedule, which is EVER changing. case in point, I was supposed to deploy 3 months after my wedding and I changed my date 4 times. there is a ton of movement when a unit is getting ready to be on the move for a deployment, training or event.

I had to call each of my vendors 4 times and say “can you make this date work?” It was tiring and I had to pay extra for a couple date moves, with all the added stress of trying to maintain my life outside of the military, and the actual job itself.

by gifting any amount to this cause YOU will be a part of taking the stress of that military member’s hands and giving the little power they have over their lives sometimes, back to them.

I want you to know while I am in seminary I am fundraising to give 16 military couples COMPLETELY free wedding officiating package! (+ other services free of charge!)

for those that give towards this goal, for every $300 dollars raised, I will provide my all inclusive package which costs $450 for civilian couples. This includes a custom ceremony script, unlimited communication, 2 full edits to the script, and the rehearsal ceremony!

the $300 covers 1 month of my tuition to seminary, so for every month of tuition raised, a military couples gets an all inclusive package, and I also receive institutional credit for guiding them down the aisle and into a flourishing marriage 🔔
