The New Moon occurring on October 25 is a significant one as it also happens to be a partial yet an intense Solar eclipse!

Eclipses are known for their highly transformative potential, as they act as energy portals that accelerates the process of growth. And because the Solar eclipse taking place on this New Moon is being formed by the South Node of the Moon (Ketu) in the 15th lunar mansion (corresponding to the Arcturus star) - the combined energy of the Sun, Moon and South Node of the Moon's makes this a powerful juncture to overcome long sufferings, by releasing degenerating old karmic patterns.

This New Moon is occuring in the mysterious Water sign of Scorpio. So we can expect a natural tendency to plunge deep into our emotional layers where unfolding of deep revelations take place. That will make it easier to recognise the emotional and behavioral patterns that no longer resonate with our present and intended future path, thus helping to have clear intentions about we need to release. This is a very powerful time when the journey of a new beginning, or furthering of a long held intention towards manifestation has a substantially greater possibility. This New Moon can also be a highly potent time for activation of spiritual powers, especially in bringing an extra boost to magick work and occult practices.

During this New Moon the cosmic energies will back the Sacral Chakra, which can enhance our creative energy to a great extent. It is a great time to reclaim your passionate self. The eclipse is also aligning very closely with Venus - the planet of love, beauty and heart expansion. Thus matters of love, relationships, and self-worth will naturally be highlighted. The Lunar energy with Venus vibes - highlighting the Water element can provide us with needed clarity to help navigate any challenges in our relationships with our inner-self and others. Around this time it will also be much easier to reconnect with our hearts and reclaim our loving and compassionate self.

To make the best of this New Moon :

• Have clear intentions about what you need to release, and what you want to add.

• Meditate on the Sacral Chakra, Solar Plexus and Heart Chakra.

• Expose yourself to the revebaration of high vibrational sounds resonating with the Sacral Chakra, Solar Plexus and Heart Chakra.

• Keep a light stomach.

• Go outside and soak up the Sun!

• Incorporate orange and yellow crystals such as Carnelian, Amber, Moonstone, Sunstone, Jasper, Calcite, Citrine, Tiger's eye for the Sacral Chakra and Solar Plexus ; and Heart Chakra corresponding crystals such as Rose Quartz, Jade, Green Aventurine, Amazonite, Green Tourmaline, Green Calcite in your energy work, or simply keep them in your energy field (charged with complementing intentions).

• Include fragrances such as Orange, Bergamot, Germanium, Clary sage, Patchouli, Rose, Jasmine, Neroli in your surroundings.

• Connect with the Water and Fire element.

• Tap into your power of love, compassion and creativity; and try giving expression to the artist in you.

• Spend some time upgrading your knowledge in areas that you are passionate about.

Keep things gentle, and focus your attention on the beauty of Venus energy, that's supporting us in our heart expansion during the auspicious event of this New Moon.
