Jayy Vibes [ underground therapy with jayy vibes ]
Born in Sri Lanka, Janaka a.k.a “Jayy Vibes” is undoubtably one of the finest artists in the country. Jayy vibes boosted up his career in electronic music since 1998, ever since then he was influenced by the classic late and early 90’s producers and DJ’s both international and local who had pure commitment for the love of music.
In 1998 Jayy Vibes bought himself some equipment to learn the skill of being a disc jockey. He sooner realized through his passionate practice and relentless hours he would use to spin the decks that the energy he creates is worth sharing.
During the year 1999 Jayy Vibes played a few mobile parties. over the years Clubs Hippos and graffiti... In 2008, Jayy Vibes signed up Club Zanziba; one of the most happening clubs of the time making his mark. further more in the industry, Jayy Vibes had not only earned the quality of his talent but also many hearts out there who have immense respect to the artist.
Few years on he was invited to join club Amuseum in the year 2009 as the resident DJ and going on in his third successful year at the club.
Today Jayy Vibes has also been featured in some of the most talked about events of the industry and played alongside some of the well known international Dj's. Guy.J,Nick Warren,Cid Inc,Khen,Paul Thomas,
Avicii,Marco V and many more.
Most importantly today, Jayy Vibes passion has led himself to reach great heights of his career. This talent is not only loved by the locals but over the years he has earned amazing loyal fans globally of his work. Here in Sri Lanka seeing his art put work on stage will never fail to give you a ride of a life time.

Aruna Upul AKA ‘DJ ULTRA is a versatile and dynamic DJ personality from the island of Sri Lanka. Ultra first entered the DJ scene in Colombo, Sri Lanka as a mobile DJ in 2002.Ultra then soon progressed to the next level, when he assumed the role of Resident DJ at the trendy Mix Bar of the Taj Samudra Hotel in Colombo and later at the very popular ‘Library’ Club at the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel Colombo. Using his vast knowledge and experience as both a Mobile and Resident Club DJ, it was in 2010 that Ultra began a new journey as a techno and minimal based artiste and DJ.
Today, with over 1000 DJ bookings and gigs under his sleeve, Ultra has evolved a distinct sound that has made him one of the most popular and in demand DJs on the island. His unique brand of music has the pulling power to draw music hungry crowds. Ultra is well known for his techno and minimal genre based, live and prepared sets. Ultra’s ability to read the crowd and identify trending sounds complemented by his very own, down to earth, humble personality, have made him a definite crowd favourite.
Ultra’s versatility extends from headlining large festivals and commercial events to powering small underground gigs and corporate functions.
Ultra has appeared alongside many global DJ industry names including Mark Knight, Sébastien Léger, Nick Warren, Jeremy Olander, Grum, Max Graham, Andrea Bertolini, Plastic Robots, Manuel De La Mare, Paul Thomas, Olivier Giacomotto, Guy Mantzur, Dmitry Molosh, Roger Martinez, Matter, Ziger, Luigi Rocca, Kolombo, Fehrplay, Ramiro Lopez, Nakadia, George Privatti, Pavel Petrov, GAGA, Mateo, The YellowHeads, Matt Sassari, D-Deck, D-Unity to name but a few. Ultra has also appeared at a number of prominent Sri Lankan music events such as Booka Booka, Area Mirissa and Fantasia 2014 - 2018. Ultra continues to be a regular guest artist on local FM radio shows including the highly rated ‘Underground Therapy’ sessions.
In 2015 Ultra launched the ‘Detroit Connection’ a Techno based record label focused on promoting underground artists and live events. At each performance Ultra brings a special energy to the dance floor that captures the spirit and moment of the music. A-JAY
A-Jay is an electronic music Producer and DJ based in Sri Lanka. His special spin on funky tech, minimal tech, tech-house and deep techno have garnered him a name as one of the freshest sounds in the region today.A decade ago, A-Jay began to discover his passion for electronic music, closeted in the confines of his bedroom experimenting with Virtual DJ and TRAKTOR, he began to play around with hip-hop beats and grooves, teaching himself the craft of music production.
In 2010, A-Jay’s discovered house music. Hip-hop abandoned, he began to experiment with EDM, learning from other expert DJs and producers of the craft in Colombo. The following year, A-Jay saw himself on the decks for the first time, dropping a tech-house set to what would go on to become his first fan base.
Today he has over 15 original releases and remixes, signed to record labels across the world. He has also played alongside some of the biggest names in the industry, including Above & Beyond, Jay Tech, Manuel De La Mare, Dinka, Marco.V, Eve Carey, Jeremy Orlander, Kintar, Hollen and Olivier Giacomotto, among others. Recently, one of A-Jay’s originals were also dropped by maestro Stefano Noferini on his radio show in Italy. In December 2016, A-Jay’s remix of Gold Finger (StoKed) made it to the #3 position on Beatport’s Top 10 Minimal Tech releases for the year.
A-Jay’s sets are filled with raw energy, delivered with a smile. And you can’t help but move to his addictive groove. His infectious personality and undeniable taste in music are a lethal combination for biggest of events and wildest of nights.

Tharidu shan"Shane Jay" ,Mixing songs and throw it into a crowd doesn’t ring a bell in "DJ". Disk Jockeys are the gifted persons who can flow the vibe through finger tips and resonate not only the eardrums but also the souls of the audience with natural frequency of his. Those gifted human beings are very rare like finding a 'painite'.They know effortlessly deliver their music experience to listeners butter smooth. Those accomplished DJs’ gamut of talents is like the electromagnetic spectrum. What we can see is visible range but the feeling spreads throughout the whole palette. Shane Jay is a rare masterpiece well matched with the above interpretation. Since 2016 , Shane Jay occupied himself delivering the extravaganza. The scope of Jay lays out not only performing.
Shane J was a resident DJ at the famous Surf View in Mirissa from 2017 to 2018. Not only but also He is the founder and owner of Underground Downsouth Event Crew. In the last years they did many underground events in downsouth such as UTRUN Season 1 and 2, Dark slider and more. Also he look forward to release his own music in to the worldwide.
Shane achieved a position producing and remixing. Celebrity DJs who are known as legends are fond of being on platforms with Jay.
