2024 Fall Classic 200 Debuts at Tricity Raceway – $10,000 to Win!

We’re excited to announce the debut of the Fall Classic 200 at Tricity Raceway, brought to you by Speedway Promotions and the Northwest Super Late Model Series (NWSLMS). This iconic 200-lap, 100-mile race will take place on Sunday, October 6th, with a $10,000 prize for the winner.

Dan Garber, Series Director of the NWSLMS, shared his thoughts on the race:
“The Fall Classic has always been about challenging strategy, and we’re confident in the ST1/ST2 tires. We’ve gathered plenty of data to support this. Making it a six-tire race will really test the drivers’ tactics as they battle for a spot in the winner’s circle.”

Greg Walden, President of Speedway Promotions, added:
“The Fall Classic 200 is a staple in the racing community, and we’re thrilled to bring it to Tricity Raceway for the first time. Fans and drivers have been asking for this, and we believe it’s going to make for one of the most competitive and exciting races in recent history.”

A Historic Night at Tricity Raceway powered by Toyota!

After a 20-year hiatus, NASCAR returned to Tricity Raceway for the Napa Auto Care 150 presented by Vic’s Auto and Supply & Peak Auto, and it was a night for the history books. With a sold-out crowd and perfect weather, the atmosphere was nothing short of electric.

Local Racing Thrills the Crowd

The evening kicked off with our local racing series, where the Desert Food Marts Hobby Stocks delivered a thrilling battle between Huffines and Peters, with Rich Peters ultimately taking the checkered flag. The Desert Food Marts Ministocks kept the excitement high, with KC Garber emerging victorious after some intense close-quarters racing.

FanFest & Opening Ceremonies: A Night to Remember

FanFest was pure pandemonium, with one of the largest crowds we’ve ever seen. The energy in the air was amazing as fans mingled with drivers and got an up-close look at the cars.

The opening ceremonies were a highlight, featuring a breathtaking performance by the Rattlesnake Mountain Dive Team, who parachuted in the American flag (banner) during the National Anthem!

Napa 150: Action-Packed Racing from Start to Finish

As the sun set and the green flag dropped on the Napa Auto Care 150, the crowd roared to life. Sean Hingorani led the field at the start, with some local talents pushing their way to the front with future stars of NASCAR. The return of Greg Biffle after 27 years was a special moment, though his run was marred by a minor 2 car racing incident exiting the west turn that resulted in tire damage.

The race came down to the wire, with the final 12 laps providing some of the most intense action of the night. Tyler Reif, showing incredible patience and skill, made his move on the tri-oval, taking the lead from the outside and holding on for the win.

A Night to Remember

The return of NASCAR to Tricity Raceway was everything we hoped it would be and more. From the sold-out crowd to the thrilling races and unforgettable moments, it was a night that will be talked about for years to come.
