❗️❗️Fight announcement. Commonwealth title eliminator Jamie Robinson to take on Kane Gardner.🧨🧨

Jamie was scheduled to box Jack Rafferty for the commonwealth title in a top of bill fight on DAZN, on June 29th

Last Monday morning, Scott received the call from Rafferty's management team saying he wouldn't be able to make the weight. They asked if Jamie would fight Rafferty at welterweight in a WBA international title fight, which was turned down as Jamie has committed to being at super lightweight.

Jamie had been in a full training camp so it was important to get Jamie another meaningful fight.

In a crazy 48 hours, we managed to finalise a fight with top 5 ranked Kane Gardner in an eliminator for the commonwealth title - on exactly the same date as the original contest with Rafferty but in Bolton. We're also awaiting approval from the BBBofC for it to be a British title eliminator.

Special thanks to Kane's manager Steve Wood and Steve Lillis for making the fight so easy to put together.

Jamie's only demand was it had to be a top fighter. Proper fighting man.
