What’s the best wedding drink menu for efficiency, cost effectiveness, and simplicity?

Light Beer
Craft Beer
Seltzer

Signature Drink 1 - I.e. vodka/cran, margarita, jack/coke, old fashioned, etc.

Signature Drink 2 - Opposite Flavor profile as drink 1.

White Wine - Riesling or Moscato
Red Wine - Cabernet or Merlot

Keeping your menu simple will not only make your guests happier, but will keep your expenses low!

5 Wedding Bar/Alcohol Tips

1. Small Menus make EVERYONE HAPPIER. Your guests don't want 1,000 choices on what to drink...FOR FREE. Get a beer or two, a couple signature drinks, and a couple wines. You will save tons of money, your guests will be just as happy, and your bar lines won't be long with indecisive guests.

2. Hire a bartending service and provide your own alcohol. In Michigan, and most states, you are allowed to give alcohol away for free. Stop spending tons of money on alcohol from a company with their liquor license. They are just up-charging you 100-1000% on the same alcohol you could buy yourself.

3. Make sure your bartending service has insurance. If they don't have insurance, YOU are liable if anything happens. From physical injuries to car accidents, or damage to the venue to unruly guests, being covered by insurance will make sure you have as little liability as possible on your big day.

4. Check with your venue to see what type of alcohol and drink storage they have. Plan ahead and make sure you have a vision for ice, drink storage, taps/kegerators, etc.

5. Give your guests a copper mug, or fancy glass jar for their wedding party favor, and also use those as their drinking cup for the night. Not only will this be easier for the guests, but the earth will thank you too! Weddings create so much plastic waste, and WHY?
