We are beyond stoked to introduce the full lineup for our event on May 10 in Brooklyn. a rising star from Ukraine with dozens of releases under his belt who’s played prestigious clubs through Europe and events such as in Berlin will provide a very good reason to get to this party early. from Iceland by way of Oslo and Amsterdam, whom we first met at playing with Tini and the Gang and who frequents such esteemed establishments as in Berlin, will turn it up a notch or three. from the UK and a regular at venues and events like Fabric, DC10, FUSE, Unum and Shelter will bring the party home. Meet our ground-breaking headliner, Tibi Dabo.

Tibi is a 24-year-old whose natural talent and distinctive sound have already brought him to the attention of some of the underground scene’s most respected tastemakers. Born in Barcelona, he started playing the drums when he was very young. A three year stint in music production and sound design school in London led to his new home in Berlin where he has initiated a change in pace and lifestyle — slightly isolated with more time and space to continue his dalliance with electronic music. His first release captured the imagination of a scene legend, Sasha, who signed the ‘Ende’ EP to his label Last Night On Earth. Across three tracks Max showcased his unique flavour, blending melancholy atmospherics and emotive motifs with exquisite sound design and a refreshing outlook.
A year later another one of the scene’s most respected tastemakers, Damian Lazarus, signed Tibi Dabo for an EP on Rebellion. ‘La Dorada’ featured two cuts that further reinforced his penchant for juxtaposing deep, emotionally-charged keys and pads with spirited percussion. The release was followed by Tibi Dabo’s ‘Her Moon’ on Crosstown Rebels and his remixes for Dubfire feat. Carl Craig and Kate Elsworth’s ‘Lotus’ and Damian Lazarus’ ‘Diamond In The Dark’ on the same label.
