New Service Alert from The Barn At Newby's Crossroads - we now have party tents!!! Pictured below is one of our 10' x 20' collapsible tents, available with or without sides and interior cabana lights!!! Several customers have asked if we have space for the wedding party to prepare for their big event and now we do! These portable tents can be placed on any (nearly) level spot on the property and their adjustable legs even allow for hillside placement! Ideal for wedding party prep, ceremony spot coverage, or we can set them up in tandem in the barn lot (or at your ceremony spot) for use as a 20' x 20' party tent. We offer them at prices well below what you would pay from a party rental company (we fact checked this ;) ) and will happily work with you to suggest ideal locations for setup for your special day. The Barn At Newby's Crossroads hosted an amazing fundraiser for the Rappahannock Food Pantry last night, Saturday June 1, with a large group enjoying an incredible early summer evening, an enormous amount of delicious food, and joyful camaraderie with their fellow Food Pantry fans. AND an incredibly enormous joyful amount of money was raised for The Pantry!!! Thanks to all who attended and thanks especially to all the volunteers at Food Pantry who made this evening the special event that it was. Finished almost all the "finishing touches" for our Winter Project at The Barn At Newby's Crossroads this weekend and we're thrilled with the results. Picked up the wood today to put the very last final touch (floor molding) on next weekend. Then it's cleanup time and we'll be ready to host YOUR dream country wedding and reception at The Barn At Newby's Crossroads. :)

Crossed a BIG item off the list today with the completion of our winter interior project at The Barn At Newby's Crossroads. Still some finishing touches to add, which will happen next weekend, but all interior walls are now clad in our own family farm raised Paulownia planking. Each plank has its own unique natural design and all of them combine to create a rustic venue like no other. Made some progress on our winter project today at The Barn At Newby's Crossroads. :) The back wall is now clad in our family farm raised Pawlonia planks and we've turned the corner, headed for the front wall! And still no arguments!!! ;) Taking next weekend off for Jimmy and Beth's mid winter beach outing but hoping to wrap this project up by the end of the month with pictorial updates to come. :)

Got started on Part 2 of our 2024 winter project at The Barn At Newby's Crossroads today. Took us a while to find our rhythm but we got there and were pleased with what we got done today. Goal is to have all that new insulation covered by our family farm raised Paulownia siding by the end of this month. :) Wish us luck!!! ;)

Winter is here which means we've embarked on our cold weather project at The Barn At Newby's Crossroads. Insulation is up and soon to be covered by our family farm raised Paulownia siding, completing a project began last winter. In addition to adding even more charm to the Barn's rustic appearance, improvements to inside acoustics and temperature control will be the end results. Wedding season will soon be upon us so remember to tell your "I wish I could have a country wedding" friends about The Barn At Newby's Crossroads!!! :)

As the year winds down we want to thank the many who have supported us in our new venue adventure. :) As a "thank you" to all of you, we are offering a lease promotion through the month of December, 2023. In order to fund planned improvements, our lease fee will be increasing in 2024 HOWEVER any customers who sign a lease (and pay a deposit) prior to December 31, 2023, will lock in at the 2023 fee schedule, a savings of $1,000.00! In other words, you can reserve your event at The Barn At Newby's Crossroads for any date in 2024 (or even 2025, for those that plan far ahead! ;) ) at the 2023 rate, IF you secure your date by December 31 of this year. :) Please message us for a copy of our brochure, our lease agreement, or to set up a personal tour.

And don't forget, in addition to our gorgeous indoor space for your special event, we have a multitude of outdoor settings available for your ceremony; from intimate secluded settings for a handful of people to expansive verdant locations that can accommodate all 150 of your guests, at no extra cost!

And as one more thank you for your support, we are pleased to announce that any leases originating as referrals from an attendee at our Family Futures event this past October will generate a $250 donation from The Barn At Newby's Crossroads to Family Futures! No time limit and no forms to fill out, just tell your "friends" that you saw The Barn at the Family Futures event and be sure they let us know of that referral.

When you schedule your wedding reception with The Barn At Newby's Crossroads you also have the option, at no extra cost! , of holding your "exchange of vows" ceremony at one of many pristine sites on the property, all either directly adjacent to or mere minutes walk away from The Barn. We have intimate outdoor spots available for small private ceremonies OR more open but equally exquisite settings that can accommodate all of your guests. Pictured here is our boxwood & rose garden, where the bride can enter under our rose filled archway and proceed down the boxwood lined path to a shaded ceremony setting framed with an abundance of Beth's beautiful plants and flowers. Shown here in it's spring splendor, our Boxwood & Rose Garden is equally tranquil in the summer and fall. We'll be showcasing some of our our other "ceremony spots" in the weeks to come. :)

A quick schedule update for The Barn At Newby's Crossroads. There are no available rental dates for June 2023 but some good dates are still available for this fall. AND we're pleased to announce our new, and first ever, brochure should be available by next week, May 2.
