Over the last few days I’ve really enjoyed teaching two bauble painting workshops at @hive.workshops … Each session was jam packed with the everyone learning the technique of faux calligraphy before painting and writing on their baubles and log slices🎄 I loved seeing everyone’s designs and their lettering - everyone did so well after just a short time practicing faux calligraphy lettering! This beauty got a lot of love at the weekend. I’ve got a feeling these modern fonts are going to be popular next year🤍 I love this pairing of the modern poster style font with the calligraphy lettering and it sure does grab attention, especially with the black lettering 🖤 All of my wedding signs are hand-painted and hand-lettered, and I can take inspiration from a variety of font styles. A wedding planned from scratch in just 4 months and from what I’ve seen so far, they absolutely smashed it. So many gorgeous little details and personal elements which I hope to share more of soon! A lovely couple that were a joy to work with and I feel so honoured to have been a tiny part of their special day!
