My munchkins are going to be SO excited to come home and see that we're into the swing of an event again. 🤣

Lucky for me, my youngest loves playing around with anything plant related, so hopefully will get some beautiful table arrangements done for me.

It is a nice change up from sewing and gluing Bookweek costumes. 🎉

I've had 90s music stuck in my head for a few days now. 🤣

We spent Saturday morning inflating balloons and having a 90s dance party, ready to set up for a 30th party. I realised after leaving the set up, I only managed a couple pics as we were setting up and not when we finished. 🤦‍♀️ It was such a a fun theme to put together, and we loved the chance to suss out another great venue for events.

Now onto the next. 🎉

I love Facebook memories! 😍 It means I get to see all the different themes that we have done over the years. We have over 60 themes available to choose from, so I often forget what themes have been chosen for different celebrations.

Baby shark was my son's absolute favourite song for so long, I remember him loving being able to help set this one up. It was such a a cute birthday theme. 🎉

Anyone else have a house full of sick munchkins?! Not a great start to the new term. 🤦‍♀️

With sick kids at home, it means (very) late nights trying to play catch-up. Lucky I enjoy being creative and it's a nice way to finish some very long days.

I'm starting to pull together all the last bits for an event on the weekend, we can't wait to see it all finished! 🎉

Today was going to be an ultimate Nerf battle in our backyard to celebrate the end of holidays for my son and his mates, but turned into a battle down my hallway. 🤣 I love rainy weather, but with 6 boys wanting to battle, rain and wind weren't helpful. In the end they built numerous forts and no picture frames came off the wall, so that's a win.

As always, we love a themed moment, so my son spent last night personalizing some bags and targets ready for the day.🎉

We've had the Disney music up loud and my munchkins are running wild, but I've managed to get a little work done today.

It was great to be able to jump back into it this week and set up a little sleeping area to celebrate a gorgeous 10th birthday. 💕

What's your favourite way to do cake?

My youngest decided that he wanted an ice cream cake this year and it was so easy to do! He picked his favourite flavours of ice cream and we just added a few scoops over the day and would pop it back in the freezer to reset.

It was back in February, and was one of the hottest days, so was a little melted, but was a hit! I'm pretty sure the adults loved it more than the kids. 🎉

In May we celebrated my eldest son's 9th birthday with a Wonka themed party. It was SO much fun to plan and I had the best time making a lot of giant chocolate themed props with him.

Each guest received a 'Wonka Bar' with a Golden Ticket invite inside with all the details - as I've said before, it's important to me that the theming starts straight away! 🤣

We had the inventing room where the guests could make their name out of chocolate. Hunted around our 'factory' for the giant M&M's. Tried their luck at guessing the flavours of the lickable wall paper. Found the Golden Goose Eggs and so many treats hidden around the place.

I think it may have been one of my favorite themes we've pulled together and it helps that he has the sweetest group of mates that just made the whole day fun! 🎉

🎉VENUE🎉

I am the messiest baker there is. I often try a new slice or cake recipe when my children have parties, so that makes the mess even worse. 😂 I'm also a late night baker. This means I'm often finishing food for a party at midnight - it drives my husband crazy!

So, when it comes to picking somewhere to have their party, I try and avoid doing it at home, it just adds to the chaos. 😂 Getting 4 kids to help tidy for people to come over is also not an enjoyable task. 🤣

My children have been invited to so many different places for parties; farms, ice arena, tree climb, wildlife parks, bounce, lakes, aquatic centers, forests, the list goes on! Sometimes though, the guest of honor really wants a princess party or a dinosaur party or even a mash of all their favourite things.

This is why we had our first venue. It was a space that your little one could walk into and it be a party designed just for them. (Even though most weekends we did dinosaurs, no party was ever set up the same!) We hope to have a space that we can share in that excitement again, but until then, what is your favourite place to have a party? 🎉

Harry Potter is not a favourite of mine. I'm a Disney girl through and through, so never got into Harry Potter. My eldest daughter enjoyed the movies for a while and had a Harry Potter party, but then she moved on. My youngest discovered the books last year and it sparked a love of reading for him. Once he watched the movies, he was hooked. 😂

My son had me working hard on this party! 😂 He made sure each detail matched what he had in his mind. Luckily we had most things in storage, but we really enjoyed preparing the activities for the day.

The guests arrived and were 'sorted' into their house colours through a game of 'Pass the Sorting Hat (parcel)'. We practiced 'wingardium leviosa' with our wands, made colour changing slime, and 'replanted' some mandrakes - with earmuffs on of course!

They ended the party by shopping in Diagon Alley, starting at Gringotts to collect their coins so they could shop. Olivander's provided their wands, they bought an Owl and Toad, some note books and pens, then finished off shopping at Honeydukes.

Thank goodness my oldest 3 children helped to run the party, it was non stop. 😂

That's a wrap! 🥂

It's been such a privilege to share in so many beautiful celebrations over the last 5 years. What started in my lounge room, moved to a back shed office, a great little venue and back to my lounge room, it's been an adventure that I've loved, but now it's time to close the door and look for our next adventure.

I am forever grateful to the families that trusted me to share in their special moments and allow me to create a easy party day for them. Thanks for bringing new ideas that meant I got to dream and create something different, for feeding my children (so much) birthday cake, for the extra help setting up/packing up, for recommending me to your friends and most recently, allowing me to come into your homes and create a party.

We'd love to continue, but the cost of everything now meant we had to increase all our packages and my lack of time meant I couldn't put into a celebration what I wanted to. This was going against everything we started this business out to be - an easy, stress-free party set up that wasn't going to be expensive. We never want to do something half hearted.

With over 60 themes available over the years, we have SO many things that will need to be sold off. Keep an eye on the page, especially if you've got a celebration coming up! 🎉
