Kirstin here 👋🏻 fun facts about my wedding Part ✌🏻

1. Up is one of my favourite movies and this song is what I walked down the aisle to. 🎶

2. I had no Inspo when designing my bridal bouquet, I picked out the best looking blooms and threw them together the day before the wedding. 🌸

3. I chose white sparkly keds for my ceremony/reception shoes and 3 inch platforms for dancing 😂

4. designed our gorgeous stationary and I cried when we picked up our wedding invitations. 🤍

5. Tbh I did not enjoy wedding dress shopping and had a few bad experiences until I stepped into the FABULOUS where I found my sparkly, floral appliquéd dream dress Aria made by

6. All I wanted at my wedding was to eat a burger and dance. After some pushback we decided on *fancier*
mini sliders for dinner. 🍔

7. We danced our ASSES OFF 💃🏼 Core memory is this photo with my fav girls singing Tennessee Whiskey and swaying together. 🥹

PSA to wedding planning couples: add some colour!🎨Choosing a colour palette is a uniquely personal choice that reflects who you are as a couple. Some people are pink people, some are green, E & B (pictured here) are allllll colours of the rainbow people and we absolutely loved it. These two were meant for each other and decided to go for it with their wedding decor. Such a fun, bold party vibe and uniquely them. 🤍
This wedding was so full of magic, love and emotion. Truly a masterpiece and we can’t wait to share more!

Fun little fact about wedding set up days… we will always read the menu! Our love of food is probably even with our love of flowers.
Maybe in an alternate universe we’re running a restaurant? 😋
This delicious looking meal was served at C&A’s stunning 1920’s themed wedding in January, such a beautiful day of love and of course… good food! 🤍

Kirstin here 👋🏻 and finally getting around to posting my wedding photos from Sept 2022!
The funniest part about designing florals for the wedding was having everyone simultaneously ask if we were designing them ourselves and in the same breath be shocked with the undertaking of it all. It was a wild ride and a ton of work but it turned out better than I could’ve imagined and I can’t thank the GOAT MOH enough for helping me pull it all off. 🌸

Some fun notes about the process below;

1. We had our wedding at our family’s private property in Thunder Beach, ON.

2. I didn’t know the exact colour palette that I wanted but I knew I absolutely had to have Pink Floyd roses, Amsterdam roses, blue delphinium and zinnia’s.

3. Leah and I drove a 15ft uhaul FULL of flowers up to the property on the Wednesday night before (the wedding was on Saturday).

3. We proceeded to design over the next 2 days hosting impromptu workshops for our family and friends as they helped design. A special memory is having a couple drinks, laughing and watching my bridesmaids design floral arrangements on the Thursday night. 🤍

4. We saved all the “cut offs” and petals from designing and placed them in rolled paper cones for guests to throw as confetti as we walked back down the aisle.

5. We jammed over 100 spiked water tubes in the ground for the roses and delphinium to line both sides of the aisle.

6. The song playing to these photos was our first dance song. 🎶

Kirstin was super ambitious last September for her wedding and decided that we would purchase, process and design allllll of her wedding flowers! 😅
Although it was a ton of work, it turned out beautifully and we had so much fun bringing her vision to life.
Of course, being a florist she had all of her guest tables labelled as flower varieties. 🌸

Our second theme is ever the ever-popular Galentine’s Day workshop!
We did this one a few years ago (pre-pandemic) and it was an absolute blast! Galentine's Day is all about celebrating the women in your life that you couldn't live without. Whether it be your mama, sister, aunt, grandma, bestie, whoever! Join us on Saturday, February 11th, 6PM at Main Street Bakehouse (6236 Main St, Stouffville). Spend the evening with your Galentine designing a beautiful floral hairstyle on your "Celfie" vase (pictured above).
While creating your floral masterpiece, enjoy your included glass of red or white wine, and personal charcuterie box! 🍷🧀
TICKET INCLUDES:
Vase, Florals & Greenery.
1.5 hour instruction/design time.
