The Worldbeat club will convene at the Oakhouse late summer with a free event. The best in Brazillian, Afro Cuban, Brit funk, African rare grooves, basically the s**t. If you listen to Craig Charles, Giles Peterson, night waves this ones for you . Background music will be Louis two shoes our club pianist with a sensitive Latin Rythmn section featuring Leandro and his Brazillian percusionistas.

Coming in November will be a soft opening of the Worldbeat club in the Oakhouse venue upstairs.Free entry ,donations welcome to fund our first turn. Our house piano player Louis the shoe will be providing the music with his piano stylings. I will be your DJ . Afro Cuban , Brazillian, Indian, African, jazz ,Brit funk in other words the cool stuff. Coming up at the Oakhouse function room. We will breathe new life into the Worldbeat club based at Hintons. Visitors there were Babba Mal, Ali farka Toure, Mike Sanchez Big town playboys, Steve Ajao.
I will be inviting acts to come along and play for us. Music from all over the world.
Support slot for local songwriters.
After a mesmerising set at this years Warwick Folk festival one of my first guests I hope will be Kevin Dempsey.
