Each day I feel like I’m coming more and more into my craft. I’m falling in love with my work over and over again as I grow.
I can’t take credit for this. YOU ARE THE REASON. Whether you’re just following along, I’ve filmed special moments in your life, or you’re someone working in the same industry, you have been a part of this journey. I believe my God given gifts are constantly being refined by those I’m serving and the ones I’m looking up to for guidance.
I’ve felt so inspired by those around me lately and I am so so grateful.

my first FULL Colorado summer has come to an end and it was SPECTACULAR. Filming weddings in the mountains is just UNREAL.
I grew up always dreaming about being old enough to move to Colorado on my own. Little me would be so proud! 📸✨

The nature of my job often causes me to miss out on special events or time with friends and family. It can cause me a LOT of fomo. That being said, I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
Like Megan + Cade’s wedding overlapping a wedding I already had booked.. we just had to get creative on scheduling when we could get some quality time AND camera time 📸🫶🏼

I’m Alyx Kemp a full-time wedding videographer. I fell in love with making videos when I was 16. I’ve studied journalism, made silly music videos, and filmed many peoples’ special events. Through the years, the Lord has brought me to focusing on wedding videography. I would have never imagined I’d end up here. 16 year old me would be so excited and a little shocked. This weekend wraps up all of my 2022 weddings. I caught this sweet moment on my iPhone as we walked back to the reception after sunset photos. To say that it went out with a bang would be an understatement.
Wood + Caroline share a love that is unmatched. The past few days were filled with laughing, hugs, sand, beer, and praise to the Lord. What a special day to witness and capture. I am beyond grateful to have filmed the wedding of two of my favorite people. 🤍

It’s been QUITE the summer.

Party people, I’m so grateful for what I get to do full-time. I figured it was time to share some photos of myself. To me, it’s invaluable to develop a personal relationship with each of my couples. When I film your wedding I’m walking into the best day of your lives. I don’t view that lightly. I want you all to feel comfortable with me. My hope is that when I step into your wedding day you feel like I’m just your friend that gets to follow you around and celebrate you!

Taylor caught this special moment as Max + Ari took one last photo of each other before they sealed their vows with a kiss!
