Adding to the festive excitement, visitors had the opportunity to explore the "One Guyana Supermarket." This showcase highlights local small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and agricultural produce, promoting the rich diversity of Guyanese products.

The Christmas Village has become a beloved staple of the holiday season, bringing the community together to celebrate and support local businesses in a festive and welcoming environment.

PRESIDENT IRFAAN ALI moments ago told police officers at the Commissioner of Police Breakfast at Eve Leary, announced a 10 percent retroactive salary incease for all public servants for the year 2024.

Additionally, Public Servants will be seeing a salary increase of 8 percent for the year 2025.

These increases represent a two year agreement between the Government of Guyana and the Guyana Public Service Union.

When it comes to the BIG Smith brand, I am down with it 100 percent because it is my identity.

2 years ago, I announced the BIG Smith branded caps for sale, well that was a public roller coaster as the naysayers based me for wanting people to wear my name the same way they comfortable wear Sean John, Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger, Nike, and other internationally recognised brands.

I am strong when it comes to my opinions so those naysayers did not get to me.

Anyways, so... Last night, I attended the First Lady's Diamond Ball, a gala event and there, I wore MY BRAND on the right chest side of a two piece designer outfit.

I was excited and felt a deep sense of pride.

My encouragement to you all, especially young people, create your own identity in whatever area you desire... blank out the noise and distractions. If the people around you are preventing you from achieving your goals, remove yourself from around them. They are a big part of your distractions.

I am now looking for sketchers who can create unique designs as my intention is to wear my brand more frequently.

Today the open it's doors. The Cafè is located to the South Eastern end of the Aiden Hotel on Robb and Oronoque Streets in Georgetown.

They offer a variety menu which includes cookies, teas, coffees and a multiplicity of local Guyanese flavours in all categories of the menu including Lemon Grass Tea.
