Just another Monday night.

A nice finish to a mushroom and escargot risotto. Baked pears with pecorino, gorgonzola, honey and thyme. Both accompanied with my friends Luigia and Lorenzo Scavino's 100th anniversary Cerretta Barolo. The 2016 has a 96 rating.

An 8 hour slow roasted leg of lamb 🐑 and aubergines roasted in the fireplace become an Ottoman dish Hünkar Beğendi- aubergine 🍆 puree with a rich and spicy lamb stew paired with a 2020 Martinenga Barbaresco🍷= Yum 😋🥰

I highly recommend visiting the open house today at Chateau le Rosey in Bursins. They make some fantabulous wines and are really great hosts. https://lerosey.ch/. My favorite is the Premier Grand Cru Garanoir Barrique.
