We have said it before and we will say it many times again, OUR TEAM IS THE BEST TEAM. Today, we are celebrating two in particular.

❤️‍🔥First, today is Peter’s birthday! You may know him as the guitarist and vocalist in Philly’s favorite indie rock band - (opening for and at on July 13th *wink wink*)! We also know him as a pickle making and packing extraordinaire.

❤️‍🔥Also, today is the last day that our beloved “Liz M” is working with us. Liz has always been the calm and quiet powerhouse on the production line. If you placed a wholesale order with us, you’ve corresponded with Liz! She is the glue to our popsicle stick, the cool to our cucumber… we will miss her dearly and wish her the best in her next chapter!

We have the best pickles because we have the best team, and that is the damn truth. Let’s hear it for ‘em!

The is back in Philadelphia this Saturday after 6 years!!! CAN YOU DIG IT?!

Fishtown Pickle Project filed for an LLC in 2018 to attend our first ever selling event - Pickledelphia - a celebration of all things pickle at the Piazza in Northern Liberties. That event paved the way for us to start this pickle passion project.

Years later, the brand evolved into the World’s Largest Online Pickle community and Fishtown Pickle Project became Philadelphia’s favorite pickle, serving over 130 retailers in PA, NJ and DE, shipping nationwide, hosting pickling classes in an effort to end food waste and donating a portion of proceeds from sales to multiple non profit organizations in the area. THIS IS A BIG DILL.

Community and love have always been at the core of Fishtown Pickle Project. Those who’ve been here from the start, know that we have been caregiving and advocating for my father Dominic who was diagnosed with - a rare and progressive form of dementia - at the age of 57. Sadly, he met his inevitable fate and passed away on Tues. April 30th at the age of 65.

Over the years and with your support, we have donated over $5K to the Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration (The AFTD) a local nonprofit with a national impact, in honor of my Dad. We have also found a sub community within FPP to support and grieve with in the process (you know who you are, friends).

My dad (and namesake!) “Dom” was an intelligent and loving man, a business owner, an absolute bad ass and someone who, though unapologetically himself and with very bold opinions 😆, attracted people to him wherever he went. He loved fun, work, family, and pickles. I so wish we could have talked shop all these years, but I know he is watching now and is super proud of what we have built at FPP 🧡🥒

FPP will continue to support AFTD in their mission to improve the quality of life of people affected by FTD and drive research to a cure.

In honor of his recent passing from and for all those who know or have yet to know this devastating rare disease, Fishtown Pickle Project will be donating a portion of proceeds from ALL sales from the entire month of May to

I rarely know the best way to navigate this. I think there is a perception that our business is larger than we are. We dont have a customer service team now, the team is me. We don’t have enough staff to have teams, ha.

Mike and I are so heavily involved in daily operations at FPP; we touch every aspect, so when our family is navigating hard things (namely, loss) and we need to hit the pause button, correspondence at every level may be impacted.

For the next week or so, specifically, job applicants and candidates, customer messages (via email and social media), sales and farmers market correspondence may be delayed. We are doing our best to address urgent correspondence, but this family time is sacred and we will have to prioritize ourselves and of course, the FPP team first.

We promise to address any issues/inquiries as we are able. Here’s to hoping that some of those currently waiting in our inboxes see this note. If you have an urgent matter for us and you have our numbers, please text both me and Mike and one of us will get back to you.

FPP is still open for business. We welcome and are grateful for the support in times when we need it most, that time is now… Thank you.
