Funeral arrangements hit different. I try to go away from a simple traditional white and for something that is less structured, a little wild and bring some color to remind the family of the joy that person brought into their lives. 🌻

I almost exclusively wear neutral colors. It’s my safe place and just love black, grey and white...
However when it comes to flowers, I thrive making colorful bouquets!!

It was such an honor to be chosen by for her big day! She wanted a big and luscious bouquet with a simple tropical feel 🌿 including her favorite flower - lavender roses 💜

Are you pro Bridal pics before the wedding?
I for sure am! I know that there’s some things you can’t control (like the weather 😅) and I would have been devastated if I couldn’t get great pics because of it... Your wedding day is stressful enough to have to worry about squeezing time in to get memorable shots with your spouse...
If you are worried about paying for 2 bridal bouquets, you can take your bridal pictures a day before your reception and I will be more than happy to refrigerate it afterwards for your special day 🙌🏻
There’s also the option to get preserved flowers or silk ones that can easily be reused a bunch of times!

This year I was in charge of spoiling my husband. We switch off every year and I wanted to do something we hadn’t try before...
We started with a hot yoga class and I guess we had an Indian themed Valentine’s because we then ate at India Palace ( recommended their curry pizza and it’s delish!) and watched Life of Pi in our hotel room. It was so relaxing and fun 🤩

On another note, this tree is getting me pretty excited for tomorrow! I feel like my son is starting to get the concept of holidays and I am the most excited mom to see his reaction on Christmas Day!!!
I always like to integrate some type of berries, leaves or other natural elements other than just ornaments. Hobby lobby for the win... but make sure you go before thanksgiving!

I always find myself not liking the wreaths offered in stores...
Or not willing to pay the price for the ones that I actually like!
I dried up some leftover eucalyptus (you can get a small bunch at Trader Joe’s for $3), used dried oranges, dollar tree foam berries and some pinecones... I purchased the wreath at Walmart for $10 last year and the ribbon was in the garland in my Christmas tree. I am glad I didn’t get rid of them.
Make sure you have a good old glue gun, and voila! Yay for upcycling!
