Karuna is the trance project of Maggie, young Macedonian DJ artist with a background of actively playing sophisticated techno music as part of the BTKRSH collective based in Skopje, which is an underground force in the electronic music scene in Macedonia and the region. The Transcendence Treatment events of the collective where psychedelic techno and various genres of trance merged the two crowds

together definitely contributed to her receptive approach towards trance music in general. After moving to Malta, few fun coincidences and working closely with Loomynum collective, being inspired by the collective's enthusiasm and way of organizing events Maggie started creating the Karuna project which found it's psychedelic home. Exploring deeply the forest trance realm, Karuna found her way of expression trough telling psychedelic tales consisting of serious groove, deep unearthly atmospheres and puzzling melodies.
