NOLJA means “let’s play” in Korean, and we wanted to create an environment to do just that.

A place where families and friends can enjoy time together all while supporting our local Korean American small business owners.

Dear Nolja supporters,

First off, thank you to everyone who came out to our Valentine’s market today in support of our small business owners. Whether you were a vendor or an attendee, we hope you had a wonderful time!

The past few months have been truly amazing as we saw our community grow, and we can’t thank you enough for the immense amount of love and support for Nolja.
Our goal has always been to encourage and provide a platform for those looking to make their passions & hobbies a full-time.
With that being said, and after much deliberation, Esther and I have also decided to chase after our own separate visions as well, making today’s event our final Nolja market.

Though Nolja may not be around, we will both cherish the relationships built through this market, and continue to support our talented local vendors.

“Ganshik” means 'snack' in Korean. So, just as outdoor dogs thrive on clean nutrition, our city dogs require just as high quality of treats as their wild counterparts. With Little Ganshik, I want to show representation for dogs living their best lives in urban settings (like in LA) while providing clean sourced “ganshik” to them to help them thrive and live their healthiest lives.

As 2022 comes to a close, we want to thank everyone for the tremendous amount of support. We’ve only had 3 markets so far, yet NOLJA has been able to grow so quickly only because of our amazing business owners and community. We have some fun things planned for 2023, and we can’t wait to share with you all. NOLJA will continue to be a family-friendly space, helping connect our local small businesses to the community. Thank you all, and we hope to see you in February 2023.
