😁 ok, so I'm sure I'll do another wedding again, but this one was perfect.

Congratulations to this gorgeous woman and her very lucky husband - Kelsi and Paul ❤️ I wish you both a lifetime of happiness!

(No, I didn't make the cake or decorate it, I wish I could claim it though! I made the hand painted topper. Husband made sure they had a sturdy and beautiful cake stand.)

This weekend I had the opportunity to "teach" a wonderful group of women and help them create Christmas centerpieces. I use the term teach very loosely here. I just showed up with the supplies, they did all the work!

Christmas greens have arrived and two little guys - who may or may not have been bribed with chicken nuggets - are hard at work wiring pinecones for all the fresh wreaths that will be made this week! 😁

While I wasn't able to get white pine for them, I promise they will still be beautiful!

Slowly starting to get my Christmas decor out at Street of Shops!! Seemed odd to restock the pumpkins while putting out gnomes! But look at this little sheep! How adorable is he?? 😍

I wouldn't be able to do what I do without the help, support and love I get from this man right here. Not only is he super handsome, he's willing to work right beside me. Whether its staying up half the night processing fresh flowers, making live Christmas wreaths (while sick!), cutting out random animal shapes because I want to try something new or making dinner because I forgot we had to eat (again), I know I can count on him. But not just me, the munchkins can count on him too. They can count on him to love them and always support them too. And even though they're not biologically his, they can count on him to love them with his whole heart. We are truly blessed.

I've been hanging onto this one for awhile now trying to decide on whether or not to post it. Dear husband finally told me that I had to. I secretly think he just wanted me to brag about his amazing job cutting out the horse shape for me. 😉 OK, he does deserve it though. He did amazing and made my job so much easier.
He also cut out a cow, I'll have to show you that one next. 🙂

I have exciting news!!

As some of you know Simon and I have been trying to figure out how to make one of my dreams come true - no, he's not buying me that horse (yet) - but opening a small store of my own. The farm we were buying with the perfect summer kitchen that would become my perfect store, that fell through in the 11th hour. We found a cute little store front for sale not far from home and at a great price! Well, after finding out that the inexpensive building was going to cost us double the purchase price for renovations, it was out of the question. What about a store at our house then?? Nope. Did you know that converting 1 of your 4 garage bays can lower the value of your home (or at least I'm told by my garage hog hubby)? I decided I'll just stick to my little corner of our basement, no sense in bankrupting ourselves or lowering our home's value, right? 🙂

Here's the exciting part!! L’ B Stitchen told me about this new little store opening not too far from us and they were looking for vendors! It's not my own store, but it's still an exciting opportunity for me and I'm looking forward to seeing what might happen. Of course I'll have my creations but I also am adding home decor and gift items!

If you've stuck with me this long (thank you!) my work in progress vendor spot is located at Memories N Creations Marketplace in Mt. Pleasant Mills. The store is scheduled to open on May 15th.

(Of the store, not the horse my dear, sweet, handsome husband is going to buy me. 😉)

Pros and cons to your sister being a florist...
PROS:
🌼 I get to support my sister and her family when I order from her
🌼 When the wreath I ordered isn’t quite what I pictured... she lets me pick out new flowers and teaches me how to make an entirely new wreath
🌼 Without complaining, might I add. She’s just happy to do what she loves and teach others. I know I’m a pain in the butt and she’s a gem.

CONS:
🌼 Burning your fingers with the hot glue gun amuses her bc it’s actually initiation into the business. Who knew?

If you ask me, I did her a favor. Now she has a beautiful summer wreath ready for one of you😉
This one, however, is happily taken.

I don't know about y'all, but finding a purse and wallet that fits my needs is almost as difficult as finding a pair of jeans! My good friend at L’ B Stitchen, the amazing Lacey, wanted a new wreath and I wanted one of her gorgeous purses. She now has a new wreath on her door (finally replacing the Christmas one!) and I have a custom made, beautiful, functional purse with a wallet to match! Go check out her page! She even does these cute videos of each one showing off all the pockets and everything!

Mother's Day is coming soon! A custom purse and wreath is sure to make mom happy! 😉
