Absolutely chuffed to receive this in the post today from a couple of team members at our New Year Quiz on 19th January!
Yes, we put a lot of work into it - but to see everyone having a great night is worth every minute! 🎓

𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨!

We hope everyone had a good time at our quiz last night! 🎓

The winner and runner-up of our spot prize took away £120 and £40 respectively, and thanks to the generosity of everyone on the raffle - we were able to donate £275.00 to the charity chosen by those who attended the quiz! Fantastic effort!

Our annual quiz is growing each year and we have sold teams this year quicker than ever!

We raise money on the night in the form of a raffle, and from the money raised we split this to give some to a local charity and some back to the attendees in the form of a 'cash spot prize' - last year we gave nearly £200 to Bury Hospice and a 1st and 2nd spot prizes totaling the same amount!

The event is also an opportunity for us to showcase local businesses by them contributing a small amount of money (𝘸𝘩𝘪𝘤𝘩 𝘸𝘦 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘣𝘶𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘳𝘢𝘧𝘧𝘭𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘻𝘦𝘴) - so there is nothing more you have to do other than agree to support us and transfer the appropriate money!
In return - we will display your logo throughout the event and at regular intervals leading up to it. There will also be printed material on the night which will also have your logo displayed.

𝗪𝗛𝗔𝗧 𝗔 𝗡𝗜𝗚𝗛𝗧! 🎓

Last night we hosted a fundraising quiz for Bev & Louis Do Strictly Best Foot Forward For Bury Hospice
𝘧𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘱𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘵𝘰 𝘴𝘦𝘦 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘶𝘱 𝘵𝘰 - 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘪𝘳 𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘨𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴!

15 teams battled it out at Cosalea Cafe Bar - Walshaw Rd with rounds of music, pictures, tv themes & adverts, general knowledge and a games sheet!

Food platters served at the the interval and there were raffles and a cash spot prize, with the winner walking away with £93!

Well done to Bev and Louis for your organisation skills and to everyone taking part in the Bury Hospice Strictly Best Foot Forward competition this year - 𝗢𝗡𝗟𝗬 𝟮 𝗪𝗘𝗘𝗞𝗦 𝗧𝗢 𝗚𝗢! 💃🕺
Over £1,000 was raised for the charity - well done to everyone!

Well done to team 𝟮𝟰/𝟮𝟲 who won the quiz with a great score of 70 (𝘰𝘶𝘵 𝘰𝘧 80) and to the runners-up, 𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘾𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙥 𝙎𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙨 with a score of 68½!
