I had already been a wedding officiant for a year, but I didn’t have the growth I was looking for with the previous organization. I was looking for an organization up to speed with social media and one that aligned with todays weddings and ceremonies.
Huge GRACIAS to all of my past couples and wedding planner friends that have trusted me with their ceremonies!! I am grateful for every single one of y’all!
And of course, another HUGE dose of thanks and gratitude to my husband for believing in me. What was once thought of as something totally left field and crazy, has ended up being my true calling!

✨The Knot Gala NYC Recap✨. Whew! Those 24 hours in New York was THE best time I’ve ever had!! Came straight from work to the airport, was able to get in a nap or two on the plane rides, finally met up with my High School bestie @solis510 for a quick bite of some tacos and horchata, (IFKYK), then grabbed a @lyft to the salon!! The ladies at @blowandarrow (Steph & Bonnie), worked their magic and I was Gala ready!! And when I called for my Lyft to the Gala, unintentionally, I ended up with a BMW X5 picking me up!!! I felt like a true celebrity!! This is why I love weddings. For one day, you see and FEEL all the hard work that goes into a production. And getting glam’d, for me, is such a treat!! I wish I could get my hair and makeup done ALLL the time!! Lol!! Inside @chelseaindustrial the space was nothing short of spectacular! Each room had its own theme, including performers, and I was here for it!!! The food was delicious and the multiple bars kept EVERYONE happy 😅. And let’s not forget about the after party at @terminal5nyc !!! You even got to CHECK IN YOUR SHOES!!! (And they gave you slides to wear! GENIUS!!). @jordankahnorchestra brought the house down!!! Small grilled cheese sandwiches were handed out throughout the night and they were amazing!! Y’all, I can honestly say I danced the night away with some of the most genuine and beautiful people in the most magical of places. So happy I got to hang out with my Fellowship for Change crew, @letspoptheconfetti @oakcityceremonies @morylaine @phillipvnweddings all night!! Thankful for @emiliebellsmith @weddingpro and @tkwwtim for developing and maintaining FFC because it has certainly changed my business for the better!! I have made some beautiful friendships that I can bounce ideas with and share in triumphs as well as struggles. Thank you for reading this alll the way through! I know it was a lot to take in. Lol!! Can’t wait for the next one!!✨
✨Chicago COR Recap✨Still on cloud 9 from this whole experience that was @weddingpro COR CHICAGO!!Not only did I meet and hangout with my awesome fellowship mentor, @phillipvnweddings , but I also got to hang out with some pretty incredible ladies of the fellowship!! @bustleandlace (Michelle), @kimberlyj.imagery (Kim), and @letspoptheconfetti (Rachel)!! Listened to some amazing speakers, took some professional headshots, set up a new payment portal/online tool to help advance my organization skills, set up a business @tiktok account, and I even did the “cuff it challenge” with some pros!I’m so full of gratitude and awe that is this organization! Looking forward to attending more in the future!
