Last night was bloody magical. Huge love to 3 Daft Monkeys for bringing the festival vibes to Bristol on a cold November evening. The room was bouncing from start to finish with the sounds, sights and colours of festival season. It's always a pleasure working with this lot and last night was no exception.

Promoting their latest album, Information Camouflage, they played a set of new songs, classic anthems and one or two rare oldies. A very special show indeed!

With Maxi Rai opened the night with a set of classics and new songs which is really nice to see ❤️ Maxi is an architect of Firejam and an absolute legend, we always enjoy working with her! Much love.

Huge love to the Exchange team as always, and to Mr. Fishlock who was on sound duties. We love this venue!

Next up is the big one... FOUR YEARS OF FIREJAM on Saturday November 23rd.

A young talent who has been a staple at the ALL+ open mics in Plymouth since the beginning. Blending beautiful harmonies with haunting undertones with her acoustic guitar and angelic voice, Alice brings a new sound to the singer/songwriter category.

Now based in Bristol she will be opening things up in the basement early so make sure you get there and support the support.

CROW
Originally from near Reading, but based in Plymouth for over six years, former member of P*e After S*x and current member of Varicosa, CROW is his solo venture armed with a baritone ukulele and acoustic guitar. Somewhere between Pat the Bunny, AJJ, Daze'N'Daze, Nirvana, Poly Styrene, Kae Tempest and Violent Femmes, CROW brings influences of folk punk, grunge, riot grrrl and spoken word to the stage in a one man and his uke meets crust punk way.

He has shared stages with the likes of: Matt Pless, Walter Etc. 3 Daft Monkeys, Babar Luck and The Bus Station Loonies.

One of, if not the biggest helper behind the scenes of Firejam, I love Crow dearly! Do not miss him!

Singer/songwriter for over 20 years performing & writing music with bands all over the globe, including Leicester band The Brandy Thieves. She brings raw blues tinged vocals, heartfelt folk melodies with lyrics that weave tales of lessons in love & loss" now brought to life in her new solo EP ‘Passage of Time’ (recorded with full band) available on all platforms and hard copy. Andrea’s live performances are ‘an emotional and joyous rollercoaster’ whether solo or with full band.

She will be headlining the basement.

Mexican Dave 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶 𝗦𝗰𝘂𝗺
The most Bristolian Mexican, a musical storyteller, weaving tales of anxiety and rebellion into a tapestry of infectious melody. Usually found in a mosh pit he now takes to the stage to sing folk pop punk songs to make sure everyone has a drink and a good time.

After releasing his album "Kinda Wasted" in December last year, Mexican Dave has been playing extensively from pubs and house shows to legendary venues across the UK supporting some of the best acts in the scene.

For this show he is bringing his band the Mariachi Scum, prepare to party from the start as they're on first!

Kingston Upon Thames based 4-piece metal inspired acoustic folk punk. This lot are intrancing with a blend of acoustic guitars, cello and powerful vocals. Their album 'To New Beginnings' is a staple of the Firejam playlist and we honestly cannot wait to bring them to this party.

Fidget and the Twitchers
Brass-fuelled Bristol 7 piece band bring you skapunkery spurting punchy beats & social absurdities! Fidget and the Twitchers bring a playful assault of bouncy ska-punk, straight from Bristol’s murky musical swamp to your eagerly awaiting earholes. They smashed this festival season by storm and seem to only be getting better with their songs on toxic masculinity, polyamory, and the echo chambers our politicians seem to live in.

Having met this group through Firejam Familia they have become some of our best friends! We always enjoy working with Fidget and the Twitchers, and they will be bringing cheeky lyrical wizardry, old-school funky rhythms, and infectious horn lines all blended together into a bubbly broth that is guaranteed to get you moving.

A scrappy, acoustic DIY ska punk band from Bristol, UK.

They describe themselves as 80% politics, 30% nonsense, and enjoy singing about everything from biscuit heists to anti-fascism.

This lot have been with us from the beginning, have always been supportive and encouraging with what Firejam does and we're over the moon to welcome them back to this stage.

JollyRoger
Cornish sea-punk folk band JollyRoger fall somewhere between the sound of The Dropkick Murphys and Levellers. Inspired by the sea and growing up in the pirate haven of Penzance, they use nautical metaphors and pirate history to speak out about mental health issues and also the better things in life, like drinking beer. JollyRoger explodes with energy on stage and are an eclectic mix of shanty vibes, humour, and Celtic punk.

With a second album in the works, a new lineup and a new sound, this band are a huge part of Firejam and it is an honour to have them headline this all dayer.

Seizure Salad are a riot grrrl/punk band from Exeter. Their songs are fast paced, silly and filled to the brim with female rage. With a sound heavily inspired by bands like The Slits, Elastica and Bikini Kill, their infectious energy will have you screaming along to songs about Pigeons and UTIs within minutes.

They’ve been gigging around the south west pretty much non-stop since they formed in 2022 and have recently signed to Exeter-based label Spinning Sister, with a live album in the works.

Birthed in the rolling fields of Stroud, some crusty folk came together with a vision to make silly songs and change the world. A fusion of folk, punk, bird related songs and chaos has moulded the Trash Cats into the band they are now. Singing songs about solidarity, feminism, crows taking over the world and Chickens. Cotswold Trash combine upbeat folk punk rhythms while delivering important messages nestled between comedic lighthearted chaos fuelled sounds.
Having their music described as "Supine-up jump-boogie waste-folk about birds and feminism. Raucous thought-strumming around issues of avian existentialism, a Post-modern pastoral skiffle" by at least 1 person in a pub one time.
