Over the next few weeks I will be sharing music videos Firejam has made
Next up, Mr Tea and the Minions - Twitchy Feet
I remember rushing from the train station to shoot this, with delay after delay it was a nightmare getting back into Bristol but I managed to get to the site where we were filming. Met the band and the actors, and jumped right into filming. The idea was to to portray the band being inside the radio and possessing our two protagonists into uncontrollable dancing. A few hours later we had more footage than I knew what to do with, so ended up making a few different edits with this being the end result.
I loved working with this lot, and so happy with how the video came out.

What a wonderful way to spend a Sunday after our last gig of the year (full post on that coming tomorrow)
Ten more layers added to a multi musician collaboration track I'm putting together. Today's additions were from two very special bands to us, Cotswold Trash and Boom Boom Racoon
Can anyone guess what song it is?

First up, Boom Boom Racoon - Yellow and Black
I had so much fun making the video for this song. Shot over some weeks in March 2023 in Bristol. I recorded the song upstairs at BASE Cafe while John filmed it. We then had a picnic in a park and rocked out at Fishstock with a few cameras to make what is a very fun video for one of our favourites from this lot.

All is not lost...
The financial risk of relying on walk-ins to pay for people (in some cases would have travelled 500 miles) was too much and so we have made the decision to revisit the all dayer next year. We will be going at it with a different approach.
We will be bringing some of the bands to Plymouth, and helping organise small South West tours for them in spring and summer in the build up to next December when we can go at this with all our might. So we will get the chance to have them here soon! We look forward to welcoming them here, and working with RIOT Garden in the new year. Gutted doesn't sum it up. I've been looking forward to this for months, and been looking forward to working with Riot Garden particularly but alas, we have to look out for each other and ourselves and when the risks are too high, sometimes it's safer to change plans.
Apologies to everyone who was looking forward to the full lineup. Refunds will be made available as soon as possible and we encourage you to come along on the day anyway, support live music and see some great bands.
