All For Jolly have been a huge part of making Firejam what it is today. We have seen them evolve from a shanty three-piece to the formidable Celtic Folk Punk five-piece they are today. From hosting gigs in pub gardens to going around Europe for three weeks, making countless music videos and much more antics behind the scenes, this lot mean the world to us and we owe them a wealth of gratitude.

Where to start with our love and appreciation for Boom Boom Racoon. They are a cornerstone of what we do and have assisted us behind the scenes in so many ways. Even though knowing them for over a decade, it was the The On And On tour a couple of years ago that firmly solidified our connection and from there they have been nothing short of amazing and lovely.

A core part of the Firejam Familia, and the nicest people you'll come across, Fidget and the Twitchers bring an absolute wall of noise every time they perform and having them a part of what we do means the absolute world to me. From gigs across the country, to recording and making music videos with them, to being at two members wedding this year, these seven reprobates have become some of the most important people in my life. Many more fidgetings and twitchings next year!

Over the next few weeks I will be sharing music videos Firejam has made

Next up, Mr Tea and the Minions - Twitchy Feet

I remember rushing from the train station to shoot this, with delay after delay it was a nightmare getting back into Bristol but I managed to get to the site where we were filming. Met the band and the actors, and jumped right into filming. The idea was to to portray the band being inside the radio and possessing our two protagonists into uncontrollable dancing. A few hours later we had more footage than I knew what to do with, so ended up making a few different edits with this being the end result.

I loved working with this lot, and so happy with how the video came out.

Happy birthday to Wren from Boom Boom Racoon. We adore you. The energy you bring to the room is contagious and your pure drive and passion for all things DIY is inspiring. You have been a major part of what Firejam is over the last four years and we honestly couldn't imagine all of this without you. A lot of it wouldn't be possible.

The second ever Varicosa gig, a p***y, noise and surreal band made up of five pillars of the Plymouth music scene. Expect the unexpected.

Plus two legends of the local singer/songwriter circuit, Lea May and Alex Lucy.

First up, Boom Boom Racoon - Yellow and Black

I had so much fun making the video for this song. Shot over some weeks in March 2023 in Bristol. I recorded the song upstairs at BASE Cafe while John filmed it. We then had a picnic in a park and rocked out at Fishstock with a few cameras to make what is a very fun video for one of our favourites from this lot.

Update on refunds from WeGotTickets
If the event has been cancelled, they'll notify the ticket holders about the cancellation and issue their refunds. Refunds take 3-5 working days and are paid back to the account used for the original purchase.

If you don't hear anything please let us know and we will chase it up for you. New tickets will go up for an event next year.

Please if you can, do still come for the smaller event as it will be very cosy just downstairs at Leadworks.

ANTICHRISTMAS ALL DAYER will now happen in December 2025. The ticket page has been set to 'cancelled' so it automatically refunds all ticket holders. A new ticket page will go up in time once the lineup has been finalised.

AN ANTICHRISTMAS EVENING - Sat 14th Dec - Leadworks, Plymouth is going ahead with a smaller lineup of people with less distance to travel and less financial risk for those behind the scenes. We can only apologise for this but we want to bring you the best show we can without breaking the bank for us or those working with us. We have plans with the bands from the original lineup to bring them to Plymouth before summer and help organize small South West tours for them. Keep your eyes peeled for that 👀

𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗔 𝗦𝗠𝗔𝗟𝗟𝗘𝗥 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧?
Some of the bands won't be gigging quite as much, or will be a different lineup next year so we wanted to try work sometime out rather than not do anything. And some of the acts who are local to Plymouth and were still up for playing. Unfortunately even some who are normally local, due to gig schedules will be hundreds of miles away the night before and could do with a less time restricting journey.

Plus there are a fair few people who are still up for it, just not quite enough in advance. But for those who really rallied together these last few weeks, we wanted to give you something.

𝗜𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗽𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝗻𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝘀:
It will be Boom Boom Racoon's last Plymouth show for some time, and last show until FISHSTOCK 2025 | BRISTOL at the end of March.
It's also Wren’s birthday 🥳

Also Louie from Cotswold Trash will be off travelling for a year, so this will be your last chance to see the OG lineup for some time. I bloody love this band, and they were Matt Pless' favourite band of his UK tour back in June so if you don't know them then how's that for a reference!?

𝗦𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗲: we had to get the Racoons and Trash Cats down as we have a recording session with both of them for a very special, collaboration project that involves over twenty people and has been in the works for a while. Think crusty Live Aid. I'm sure we'll be posting more about this next year.

UPDATE: AN ANTICHRISTMAS EVENING - Sat 14th Dec - Leadworks, Plymouth

We are postponing.
This was never what we wanted but the level of financial risk due to low tickets is too much. Plus a few other factors, meaning the best course of action is to postpone.

We will be running a smaller event with some of the lineup on December 14th, tickets for this will be £8. If you request a refund we will issue this for you.

UPDATE: AN ANTICHRISTMAS EVENING - Sat 14th Dec - Leadworks, Plymouth

So much love to everyone who has been sharing the Antichristmas event. It was looking hopeful, but we are still just 48 tickets off our break even target and based on recent experience we cannot rely on walk ins. If this doesn't pick up drastically this will be postponed until next year.

This is never a decision a DIY promoter wants to make, but with a few losses recently, we cannot afford another one. Especially this time of year.

The offers to buy tickets on the day is lovely, but unfortunately without a guarantee, as a non funded, DIY and skint as f**k project, a four figure loss is too big when our financial cushion is only three figures.
