Julian R. Judge, Sr. was a life-long resident of the City of New Britain, who grew up to be a successful entrepreneur. Julian started J&J Landscaping LLC and grew it to be a locally renowned company. Julian donated his time, money and considerable talent to helping other aspiring local entrepreneurs to start their own companies. Julian was also well known for hosting a “Father’s Day Fish Fry” annually. Julian was an entrepreneur, a friend and a giver, but above all of these things he was a loving father and husband.

To ensure that Julian’s legacy lives on his family has continued to host the annual Father’s Day Fish Fry in his honor which will now be used to raise funds annually towards a designated scholarship fund in Julian’s memory. While talent may be evenly distributed throughout our own blessings, opportunity is not, so these funds are not giveaways but awarded to only those who have proven they have the drive and talent to turn their dreams into reality.

This year's fish fry event will take place Saturday, June 18 at Paderewski Park in Plainville.

Winner will be able to pick one of the following rental

🔥Prize A: Sno Cone Machine + 50 Cones and up to 2 flavors of syrup. 2 (32 oz squeeze bottle)

🔥Prize B: Cotton Candy Machine + 75 Sticks + 1 flavor (half a gallon)

🔥Prize C: Popcorn Machine + 40 bags and popcorn kit to serve up to 40 guest.
