Wow, what a start, over 70 girls took part in our first session of the new season, both new faces and old, we we also had a group of Danish boxers over, they absolutely loved it and showed us how far we’ve come in this country already.

Massive thank you to Shannon and Nina for coming along and supporting us as always the girls love spending time with them and hearing about their journey. as always, Next Gen and Athena working together for the benefit of females in Boxing, no egos, just a love of the sport

Just sharing a few more details ahead of our September sparring day.

This will also form part of the selection process for Sweden for the Eastern counties boxers. This is partially funded by Eastern counties. 👏🏻

Boxers must have their red BCR1 digital card and an in date medical and coaches attending must have their purple digital coaches license and in date safeguarding first aid and DBS. please get your details over to Kerry as soon as possible.

This is going to be a big one girls

What struck us yesterday It’s just how far clubs and coaches are willing to travel to ensure their female boxers get the best sparring possible. we had clubs from Weston-super-Mare, London, Birmingham, Liverpool and Leicester to name but a few.

And that’s a wrap, what a finish to the season, for the NextGen and , working together this season has taken this to another level. Lots of new clubs attending and giving really great feedback. Massive thank you to Shannon Ryan , for spending the whole session with the girls and giving a really inspirational talk. They loved it and to be fair Shannon looked in her element also.
