The Pinnacle - Mike's 1966 Split Screen Canterbury Pitt Camper
Some vehicles come into your life out of pure serendipity. I think it's safe to say that this wasn't the case for Mike and his 1966 Volkswagen Split Screen Canterbury Pit Camper.
Mike's story is very much one peppered by a love of all-things-Volkswagen. Although Mike lived a large part of his life in Kidderminster (which is quite literally as far from the sea as one can get), a love of all things surf related initiated a life-long-love-affair with one of the most iconic surf symbols of all time - The Splitty.
20 years of owning a vehicle is no easy task and through that time this beloved splitty has been through it all with Mike, including a much anticipated relocation to North Devon. It was here in North Devon, tootling through the Devon lanes, that Mike met the love of his life, Naomi.
The pinnacle of Volkswagen ownership? Whilst that may be up for debate, Mike's lifestyle epitomises everything The Splitty is about - surf, sun and good times.
Here's to another 20 years...

Bill's 1982 MK4 Mini - Dad's Duty: A Mini Adventure
Bill's 1982 Mini HLE 1000 mk4 is the result of hundreds of hours of hard graft, all carried out by a spectacular chap who prior to acquiring the car had very little experience with working on cars. The car was an impulse purchase by Bill's son, Josh - He had been learning to drive in a Mini and thought it was the perfect idea to purchase a slightly dishevelled example that lived just a few houses away. 👨🔧
Unfortunately it became apparent that the car was actually in far worse shape than Josh could have imagined. This left the car in limbo for a short while before Bill decided to take the bull by the horns to get the car road-worthy. What started as a small project to get the car back on the road for his son has turned into a decade long journey in self improvement. Bill has learnt everything from scratch and in the process has created a real head-turner.
I don't think I've met a thriftier chap than Bill - absolutely nothing goes to waste! If there's a chance to save something, Bill will save it. In this world of trying to achieve sustainability, keeping these old girls on the road is really the greenest thing you can do. Thanks Bill!🎥⚙️🔧⚒
Martin's Morris Minor Tourer: 44 Years & Counting
Martin's Morris Minor Tourer: 44 Years & Counting 📸⏳
I think it's safe to say that Martin's Morris Minor Tourer is very much part of the family. This is a privilege most cars probably never achieve but I suppose 44 years of ownership will afford this bond to almost any car.
Martin's story is one of serendipity - there's no denying that this chance encounter with the Morris has had a significant impact on his life. To own a car for 44 years is no small achievement, especially one that has been in regular use whilst simultaneously cherished.
A car that has been with Martin and his family through thick and thin. The car is staying in the family forever.

Rob's R34 GT25 Skyline is a Daily Driven Dream Machine - Build it Drive it. ⚒ 📸
Rob has poured countless hours into the project creating a car which epitomises the Built Not Bought ethos that Rob lives and dies by. ⚔️
This Do It Yourself mentality has resulted in an R34 that has lived up to childhood expectations. Sometimes it really is worth meeting your heroes. 🇯🇵
