I did it!
Just dropped off my last wedding of 2023.
36 weeks pregnant today! Now we wait for Miss Dory 💛

Thank you to hubby & for todays help. Also worked with some freaking awesome coordinators .r.events today! Made today a breeze 🤍

I haven’t posted on a hot minute, I am working on catching up. Along with finally feeling like myself again. Spring was not only a crazy wild busy wedding season, but I was dealing with hardcore morning sickness (more like all day sickness) in the middle of it all. Summer went into craziness of catching up with family and getting some much needed time off.

Haven’t posted in so long, I’m not sure I know how…🙃🤓
Just over here focusing on making floral dreams come true 🌸
I needed a very serious break from social media, it’s easy to forget you have a life outside of owning a business.
I love my job and to continue to love it, I have made changes to insure I get breaks. Balance in life is important and I’m still very much working on that! I am so guilty of letting it consume me to the point I have no free time and no life outside of it. (I did the same thing as a personal trainer). Putting so much effort in posting and I would get 50 likes (tops) just became pointless! I have weddings every weekend, I know I’m successful and I don’t need social media to verify that. And truthfully I felt I was leaning into that, not many likes and not many new followers. So don’t expect a post every day, hell don’t even expect it weekly. I’ll get to it when I get to it, my focus is my clients! I appreciate all my Buds for your love and support all 12 of you that like every post. 😜

I’m about 12 days late but hey it’s October in Florida Aka The wedding season lol.
Happy one year to my right hand woman!Meet your bud Shelby!
I met Shelby and I knew there was something about her, I wanted her to be part of my team/life.
Shelby is my second set of hands, my assistant if you will. Shelby has been like a sponge and absorbing everything I’m willing to teach her.
She has learned so much!
Shelby is working to have a business of her own, where she offers planning and day of coordinating.
Her passion for love and weddings is through the roof, her hard work and dedication is not unseen.
Not to mention she’s always making me smile and laugh! & in a stressful industry that’s pretty dang important.
I have loved & love watching you grow as one of my buds/ team member.
Though I know one day you’ll be moving forward on your own adventure, I know we have created a lifetime friendship and of course the helping hand when it comes to business.
Love you girl and can’t wait to see all that you do 🫶🏼
P.s. I did the count of how many weddings you have assistant me on within your first year… 21 weddings together thus far

You know what I love the most, besides handing over the bouquet…
The “after glow” walk down the isle moment! The amount of pure joy and love you see on the faces of the couples walking down the isle after I do, it’s my fav!! It’s one of the most purest moments of the day.
I mean just look at & faces!!! 🥹
To see smiles in a photo and find those smiles contagious = 🥹🥹🥹

One of my absolute favorite photos from my own wedding is Derek and I walking down the isle after our I dos.

I wasn’t going to post these at least not yet….
But I’m like in shock, this is literally my first roll of film…
I had this camera my dad bought when he was 11yrs old, I decided to pick it up and see if it worked. It has been decor on a shelf for a few years now and before that just in storage.
I had and have no clue what I’m doing but I am learning…
Thank you for some pointers lol
I wanted a creative hobby for myself, & I believe I have found it. I am no photographer and I do not wish to take peoples pictures.
I love to learn new things, I feel stagnant if I’m not learning.
& I love love love being creative!
I do hope to have time at events to snap a few arbor and table arrangements with film though! I’m so excited 😆

Let’s talk backdrops!
Photo booths wether self made or rented have been a hot request for couple years now…
I think this is a trend that will continue, but continuing to evolve.
I love a good custom one of a kind backdrop!

& got a custom neon sign made for their day 🤍
Their design was classic, timeless, boho.
They wanted to ensure that the neon sign was THE focal point of this backdrop. I have to say the neon signs are my top favorite backdrop accessory!

Ready for fall weather but still enjoying the slowness of summer…
This summer has been much needed time of rest, recoup, organizing, home & shop projects, and of course paperwork (my enemy). I haven’t gotten everything done one my summer to do list, I still have a little time to squeeze some in. I needed this so much, don’t get me wrong I love what I do! But breaks are important and much needed, especially before you burn out. I am so bad about obsessing over whatever I do, and while that has major pros, rest and breaks are just as important. The last thing I want to do on my one day off is some house project, forever taking summer off.

Side note:
If I could do this arbor all over again I’d add more monstera.
