Online entries available now! With a number of mail issues this year, I encourage people to take advantage of this option. Payment will still need to be sent by mail, but entries must be submitted by the closing date.

I’m starting to reach out to exhibitors entered in the Test of Choice classes in the Region 10 Sport Horse PreShow.

If you did not specify which test(s) you are riding on your entry blank, please contact me or return my email ASAP.

The default option will be the highest test of each level if I do not receive a response.

Surprise, Region 10 Sport Horse Exhibitors!

We are trying a new system for entering online this year, and hopefully everyone is able to play along to make this run smoothly for our first time out.

This entry form submits your class entries and all accompanying information and waivers. All entries MUST have payment on file with the show secretary before acknowledgements, back numbers, and stalling arrangements are given.

Payment must be postmarked within 48 hours of the online entry form being submitted. EXCEPTION: All checks for entries must be postmarked by MAY 28th!

PLEASE NOTE:
ALL Regional Dressage & Western dressage classes must be entered by the entry deadline regardless of qualification. This will allow that Ride Times may be produced in a reasonable amount of time prior to the show. If a horse is qualifying for the first time in the pre-show and qualification is not obtained, a full refund of any class entered where qualification was not met will be issued.

WAHA SPRING FLING
Updated SHIH & Ride Times are available in the office and this post.

Times have NOT changed, but we have had a number of scratches today that are now on the schedule to better help you prepare for tomorrow and Sunday.

As a reminder, your original listed time is still your time. However, if there is a scratch right before you, you will have the option to go early if you would like. Please stay aware of the arena schedule throughout the day.

Hi friends!
Back for a quick update on the ARAB, Inc. clinic/demo day coming up on March 23rd in Springfield, IL in the Livestock Center at the Illinois State Fairgrounds!

I feel like this event needs a name. Thoughts? Suggestions? lol

The day will include:

⭐️ FREE ADMISSION ⭐️
It will be free to watch any of these events or shop the sale items!

🐴 Equine Microchipping
Full details to come, but if you are interested in bringing your horse(s), please let me know. We will have stalls available in a nearby barn if you need a place for your horse to hang out.

🐎 Saddle Fitting Demo with Julie Welch
We will have six available spots to participate in this. One has been claimed, but if you are interested, please contact me. Julie will have a trailer full of saddles with her at the event. Again, we will have stalls available for participants.

🏷️ Tack Sale
If you are interested in setting up an area to sell tack, please let me know so I can direct you to our coordinator.

We will also have demos on wrapping and other important horse care issues!

I’m working on including a Meet an Arabian Horse event, as well. I’ve wanted to do one for a long time, and this seems like a great opportunity since this event is geared towards all breeds of horse.

If you have any other ideas to include or would like to help us out in ANY way, please let me know. Might as well make the most of renting the facility!

Revised ride times and sport horse in hand signups for the 2023 WAHA August AVS went out this afternoon. If you did not receive the email, the times are attached here, but please contact me for sport horse in hand sign ups.

Coming to the August AVS hosted by the Wisconsin Arabian Horse Association?
Make check in quicker and easier for everyone by emailed your entry forms in ahead of time! Just bring payment and the appropriate copies with you to the show office at check in, and I’ll have everything else ready to go!

The weather is supposed to be nice this weekend! There are still stalls available for the WAHA SPRING FLING DRESSAGE SHOW and the ability to post enter sport horse in hand, sport horse under saddle, and western dressage suitability classes. If you are planning on post entering please let Jamie Wright, the barn manager know!

Don’t forget to come visit me in the show office in Barn 14 today to pick up your numbers! Remember, I must have payment and signed waivers on file before numbers will be given. The office will close at 7pm tonight and will reopen by 7:30am on Saturday.

Also, please remember to have your Coggins and health certificates at your horse’s stall. I do not need them on file in the show office, but you do need them near the horse.
