Hello Beautiful...

Sweetheart, once upon a time i was filled with so much joy and excitement. Kissing your belly thinking it was absolutely possible that you and i could have a baby. No matter ludicrous it may seem all that mattered to me is that i would, with you....do you remember? How silly you thought i was and brushed my hair with your fingers and i turned to look at you? Secretly did you want that too as a smile pressed through the corner of your lips?

I may never know or understand what you go through...as you said...i am not a mom...for years that special and tender place of longingness was complete and filled by your embrace, caress and the laughter of both you and our kids. Sure..."ours" when i was still a part of your lives. For a portion of my life i no longer wandered aimlessly for purpose because i knew, i believed, i found home...

I may have not been whole then..wanting to belong...thinking that perhaps i was purposely the missing fit to our puzzzled lives...but i felt it too..growing within me...a certain kind of feeling that was warm, loving, sure...i had not know then you were a single mom. All i knew was how two lost souls found comfort in each other. It couldn't be explained, it just felt good, it seemed like it fit... You have opened your world to me..taking me places in your past i that i may have not survived. And yes...i was amazed and in awe...i believed your stories, your journey and i was determined to support your dreams moving forward. You may not have to say it but you needed a break...

My kids....the questions you ask are as curious as your confused mother...it is after all her first time. None of this is your fault....when you first asked who i was in your mother's life...it was hard to explain, let alone tell you how i feel about her and you...it was absolutely bliss that you would find comfort in me, trust me to be there for you, explain difficult concepts...although i may not be your dad or the "Dad" you have expected. I Love You to the freaking moon and back. I would know all the crazy things you did before your mom did....you would always ask me for help on assignments and school projects and i know you liked my cooking better than your moms...hehehehe...

Kids, what you saw before you was real...there was love...at one time your mom and i were so in love...you even drew us getting married but grandpa didnt know what to make of it hehehe...he loves you very much..taking you to the park and to work with him...he would sometimes still talk about it....soccer and chess nights at the park....i'm really sorry it didnt work out the way we planned kids....

Single moms aren't all the same...wether they wanted to have kids or not, for whatever reasons they may have had or how circumstances played out in their past...i want you to know that I love you...that you are accepeted, valuable, loved and respected. Me and many of my brothers do hold a special place for you in our hearts, going at it alone is not easy and you do deserve to be with someone whether you choose to or not but a person who can be a supportive, loving and caring partner in life.

One day i still hope to fill this void in my heart..one day...in God's time it would all make sense...it will feel right..and i would be home....Thank you single moms for letting us into your lives...thank you for sharing your family and your children...thank you for your love...thank you for giving my heart a home for a while. thank you for giving me the chance to be your man, a role model and fatherly figure to our kids....Thank you Sweetheart.

Sabi ni daddy may 2 klase rambutan, supsupin at tuklapin. Kako, namn e basta sya ay rabutan masarap namn yan parehas. Ay oo nga at masarap pero napagtanto ko ga na kahit masarap ung supsupin and ung katas katas pa, nkadikit talaga laman sa buto hindi mo maenjoy ung prutas at maraming natira ngang laman....ung tuklapin...edi iyun natutuklap ga ung laman mula sa buto, parehas namn ung tames at linamnam ng katas, kaya nga laang talagang mguguya mo ung laman...

Di akoy napaisip din, kung ihahambing natin yan sa karanasan o sa pag ibig o sa tao din pede...parehas parte ng buhay may mga aral na katas lang mkkuha mo doon at meron namn tlaga namn mgiging part ng katawan mo, ngunguyain mo, lulunukin mo alam nyo ga....

Sa tao at pagibig gayun din, sa matinong usapan ha....walang halong libog at enang alam ko namn kanina pa kayo ngiisip kung ano ano....ayun nga either part lang sila ng buhay at experience at kung tuklapin iningest ba...malalim...malalim pingsmahan at pinhuhugutan...

Savor life lessons, enjoy what you have right now.
Let go of people that took you for granted, let go of the feeling that it was a waste, let go of the thought you were betrayed, let go of the feeling that you weren't enough or appreciated, let go of the person who hurt you, forgive them for their selfishness, forgive them for lying, forgive them wasting your time and effort,

forgive yourself for falling for the person who hurt you, forgive yourself for believing in thier promises, forgive yourself for letting them into your life, forgive yourself for not trusting your instincts, be grateful that now you know better, be grateful that you are wiser and stronger, be grateful that you are breathing despite their absence in your life, be grateful that you now know who is genuine, be grateful you know who will be there for you in time of trouble, be grateful that it happened this way to awake you from wasting your heart, effort and time on what you thought was love, be grateful for the lessons.

For all that has happened trust our Lord to give your heart and mind peace that you can store this as experience, trust the Lord to strengthen you and show you the way to better yourself, trust in the Lord to instill in your heart the right things to do and focus on, trust in the Lord's process to let love into your life at his time, trust that he knows whats best for you, trust that he knows every tear you cried and your desires, trust that no matter what he was there with you along, trust that you are protected and that these were just lessons that are now memories, trust in his process that his blessings of love, abundance and happiness will come 10 times stronger and when you least expect it. Trust the Lord to give you peace, patience and comfort while participating in the plans he has for you.
