This studio was inspired by my late Uncle - Ray Davis, who got me into music production many years ago. ‘The Garden’ is a homage to the studio he ran in London in the late 80’s early 90’s and saw some iconic bands of that era pass through its doors.. as you can imagine, it was one of his greatest joys!

My vision for this studio is for it to be a utility for new (and old!) musicians as a stepping stone between the bedroom/ garage and bigger studios and more!

There’s so much talent in the islands and having access to an affordable, professional space, I hope, will help get some of that music out there for world to enjoy!

Premier drum & bass label Amusement Audio returns this November with Brave Boys, a joint EP from label boss Glitch City and Jersey-based producer Contagion DNB. In true Amusement Audio fashion, Brave Boys promises a brain rewiring drum & bass journey, four tracks long and unrelenting in its pursuit of maximum rave energy.

Brave Boys is a weapons-grade drum & bass EP.

A rising tide of melodic pads and a soaring melody line provide the introductory sounds of EP opener ‘Witchcraft’. They soon give way to crunching synth jolts, eventually joined by rushing percussion lines as the track opens up into a high-speed mix of precise drum lines, blunt-force bass stabs and mangled samples.

‘Brave Boys’ keeps the vigor high with a distorted melody that cuts through the speakers. ‘Diwali’ opens with plucked string lines and crying guitar chords. When the verse hits, it’s screw face energy as Glitch City and Contagion craft a web of basslines armed with a legion of distortion.

‘Smilers’ closes out the release with minimal and techy energy. Built around arpeggiated bass and lightspeed drum programming, this one’s made for forgetting your environment and letting the music guide you.

Brave Boys will land on all digital platforms on 1st November 2021.

So after a month of building up my humble new studio in its new home, I can now get back to writing music again!💪🏼 started a bit behind schedule (thanks condor ferries) but managed to pull it back on track and have the doors open for business by the end of August 🙌🏼🙌🏼

In a nutshell, this studio is here to give the next generation of artists/ dj’s and producers of jersey a help up and out of the bedroom environment and into something a bit more professional 😉 .. with that being said, my services will be available to all musicians at a very competitive and affordable price..All will be revealed 🔜 so keep them eyes peeled for more info to come!🎶🎶

Memphis Bleek released his debut studio album "Coming of age" on August 3, 1999 through Roc-A-Fella Records. The album was certified Gold and features JAY-Z, Beanie Sigel, Ja Rule and N.O.R.E..
