The beauty of our designs is that we can do both! It’s what sets us apart from the typical neutral beach picnic. We love getting super creative with our designs by putting a twist on the classic boho vibe. Since we offer full event planning service, we truly can bring your dream event to life!

We love helping our guests celebrate brand launches!

and contacted us to celebrate the launch of their latest project using deep green to match the brand. This is the second time we have worked with this amazingly talented couple on a company launch party (last time was with ) and we are so grateful to be part of such major milestones!

Fun Fact: Did you know that we dress up for custom themes so that we blend in better with the background during photos of the event? It makes it way more fun for everyone and completes the vibe…plus we couldn’t turn down the opportunity to wear our cowgirl boots!

We love transforming a backyard space into an extra magical place! ✨

This time, we created a cowgirl-themed event for .ponton and her friends for a fun girl’s night. We went with a wildflower motif and tied in elements to make a whimsical country theme.

Thank you to Sophisticated Spreads] for inviting us to set the table and decorate! We love getting creative especially when it’s based around a beautiful sixteen-foot grazing table 😋

One Saturday in July, we received a text message from an unknown number stating that Paula Abdul wanted to speak to us about an event. We immediately called the number and were looped into a conference call with her manager, stating that he had been following us for months!

We had to ask him if this call was real because we were so surprised that of all the people in Hollywood, Paula and her team called our small business. He asked us if we could do an event for Paula that Monday, and while normally we like more time to prep for an event, we were beyond honored to be considered so of course we jumped on board!

Always up for a challenge, we pulled together our resources, called up our favorite vendors, and pulled off an incredibly successful event called Camp Paula Wanna for a special live series. The CEO of Tik Tok was so impressed with the backdrop, he called Paula during the event to ask about us! 😍

Thank you so much to and for trusting us with your event! Weeks later, we “Straight Up” feel like this was a dream come true!

Happy Wednesday Dolce Fam!

It has been a hot minute since we’ve had a chance to post anything other than stories and we are about five months behind on content with events we’ve done 🙈 We’ve been lucky to have events nearly every day, sometimes multiple times a day. While we may be slacking on the social media side, we’ve been putting all of our energy into event production to make stunning events…which is always our priority!

While we are short staffed (right now it’s just the two of us making the magic happen), we’ve been looking into new ways to cut down on the admin work by either hiring a virtual assistant, social media manager, & lately have considered bringing on a PR firm to at least assist with media posts and customer service. Ideally, we’d love to have someone that can help with events & the admin side.

Has anyone used a PR firm before? We’d love to hear your tips for scaling small business! 💕 Share below ➴

While we are well-known for our beautiful beach setups, we definitely have a soft spot for picnics at parks and in forests because of how serene it is near the trees!

We set up this 8th birthday party with a table for the girls complete with custom cookies, and a with a table for the moms featuring an accompanying mimosa bar…all at a park overlooking the harbor below. We believe you actually can have the best of both worlds!

We recently had the pleasure to work on a brand event with as hosted their first in-person meeting since last year!

We fully transformed the parking lot of Sweat Cycle into a boho picnic paradise. After guests completed their cycling class, they were treated to charcuterie boxes and waffle batons as they listened to talks by a variety guest speakers.

Cotton candy skies during a perfect California summer 🌴

We are about two months behind on posting our events, but that is because we have been so busy! We have officially completed nearly 300 events since starting in September of 2020 which is both humbling and wild at the same time. We started Dolce Picnics as a side project that has since grown into a full-time business in less than a year!

We have some exciting new updates coming, so stay tuned as we enter the summer season with new releases, themes, and packages. Thank you to everyone for all of the love and support since day one, we couldn’t do what we do without all of you!
