From time to time, I have been *known* to do still photography besides my usual video work ;) Maternity photos for my friends Michelle and Greg at Powell Butte, Portland. They are both incredible, creative humans and I think their kid is going to be so cool! Happy for them.

Here's a little sneak peek from an upcoming project. I was out filming B roll for a project and ran into these very stylish roller skaters, Autumn and Zeke. He is the founder of CHORDination, a long-running Portland area music school that has taught generations of students on many instruments. Here are a series of images I took while co-teaching a recent photography workshop in Virginia City, NV. All of the models are students who volunteered and really brought some great personality to this old western ghost town. Most years, for the last decade, I have taught 1-2 youth photography workshops alongside my longtime mentor and former teacher. Teaching has always been a great way to learn from, and share my skills with the next generation (or people of any age).
