The Anniversary Dance at weddings is always a special moment. It's all about finding the couple with the longest marriage and gaining some wisdom from their journey. It's a delightful game that gets everyone used to the dance floor, setting the stage for a packed open dance.

But at NABE, we decided to put our own spin on things. Instead of searching for the longest-married couple, we were on a quest to discover the couple with the closest wedding day. And guess what? We found them! They were tying the knot in just two weeks. Talk about a short time window! We hope they were here for the entertainment and not stressing about last-minute preparations. 😂

The remix of the Anniversary Dance added a playful twist to our event, sparking laughter and excitement among the crowd. It's moments like these that make NABE truly unique and unforgettable. Stay tuned for more surprising and joyful experiences that will make you smile and dance along! 💃🕺✨

Father's Day is literally just around the corner. Custom engraving makes the best gifts ever. Write a funny saying of his (dad joke), create a puzzle he could solve, or give him a cutting board with a motivational quote to inspire him to cook lol. Reality TV—it seemed like a breeze, right? Wrong! The amount of preparation and learning required is immense. With a lean staff, the task was nearly impossible, and we won't be venturing into live streaming anytime soon. Our focus is on perfecting the NABE experience for our in-person participants. Once we achieve that milestone, get ready because NABE will be coming to your screens. We believe everyone should have the opportunity to be a part of NABE, regardless of their location. And we're proud to say it all started in the beautiful Quad Cities.

Though our ambitious livestream project fell short, we can't help but applaud the incredible team that fearlessly took on the challenge. To our amazing tech nerd friends, you are the true heroes—always eager to learn and conquer the biggest undertakings. Each one of you holds a special place in NABE's history, and we're grateful for your unwavering dedication. Thank you for fearlessly venturing into the wild world of live streaming with us at NABE. We took the concept of a grand entrance to a whole new level. Our clothing models strutted their stuff as they stepped out of a massive 40-passenger executive bus right inside the venue! 🚍🔥

It was a fashion show and a grand entrance all in one! The excitement was palpable as our models showcased the latest trends while making a statement with their grand entrance. The energy was electric, and the atmosphere was nothing short of spectacular! 💫

We owe a big shoutout to our amazing venue the RiverCenter for accommodating our unique idea and allowing us to bring a massive bus indoors. It was truly a sight to behold, and the memories made that night will last a lifetime. 🎉

Which couple do you think won the shoe game?

We played the Newlywed Game at NABE 2023. Btw The Newlywed Game is a popular game show that originated in the 1960s and has been adapted into various formats over the years. It's typically played at wedding receptions or events, and is designed to test how well a newly married couple knows each other. The game is often entertaining and humorous, as it reveals how much the couple truly knows about each other's likes, dislikes, habits, and quirks. Typically it's played with a host or emcee who asks a series of questions to the couple. The couple is usually seated facing away from each other or separated by a barrier, so that they cannot see each other's responses. The host asks a question, and the couple writes down their answers separately on individual cards or whiteboards. The host then reveals the answers, and the couple's responses are compared. If their answers match, they earn points. The game usually consists of multiple rounds with different sets of questions, and the couple with the most points at the end of the game is declared the "winning" couple.

Some examples of questions that may be asked include:

"What is your spouse's favorite movie or TV show?"
"What is your spouse's most annoying habit?"
"What was the first meal you cooked together as a married couple?"
"What is your spouse's favorite childhood memory?"
"Who is more likely to forget important dates, like anniversaries or birthdays?"
"What is your spouse's dream vacation destination?"
"What is your spouse's most embarrassing moment?"

You don't have to try it at a wedding. Try this at a family get-together. Who knows each other better? His parents or her parents?

Not only was she the glue for making NABE 2023 a success, she's also an 8th grade teacher that uses math to educate her students about resilience, problem solving, team work, and finding the fun in challenging times be it math or real life. This is why on Friday 4/14/2023 Jazmin will be recognized as the 8th grade teacher of the year for her school district. We are beyond proud of you Jazmin Taylor. For your undeniable devotion to our future leaders, the late nights you put into NABE, and the positive impact you're imparting on the world daily. Continue to be fearless.
