Do you know a team in Brighton who deserve to receive a lunch delivery next week in support of this year's 'Wear it Pink!' 🩷 breast cancer awareness campaign?

We, at The Old Skool Bus & Kitchen, are running a fundraiser with businesses, schools, and Universities next week, offering a lunch delivery service by our big yellow American school bus food truck! Managers can order their team (minimum of 10) a lunch at £10 each and all profits go direct to the charity. That's £8 a meal to charity, as we're kindly being donated produce from Rogmans Butchers and Coburn & Baker, and we have staff volunteering!!! 💖

However, we're also offering ✨️ONE LUCKY TEAM✨️ a THANK YOU meal delivery for a wonderful nominated team, of a FREE meal each! (up to 10 people)

💕 Nominate a team who do a great job for the community of Brighton to receive a FREE LUNCH to say thank you for all their kind efforts and hard work! Tell us how and why they deserve a 'thank you' lunch!

💕 Tag or copy in any local team you know who may wish to support the 'Wear it Pink' campaign for breast cancer awareness by ordering their workers lunch deliveries next week to your office, warehouse, factory, co-working space, universities and schools!

💕Order for a minimum of 10 co-workers with you, within the Brighton area with drive up avcess, and we will book you in a delivery slot on our rounds next week!!!! 💖💕💞

"Wolfie" our American school bus has been busy in movies and photoshoots since we bought her last year!

This original American junior school bus was shipped to the UK for sale in London, she was rusty, needed a fair bit of work to get her through the MOT, and she still had graffiti all over the children's seats in the bus!!! (I've left my favourite couple of tags in, where I only know where they are! 😉)
Thankfully we had Shred & Butta in Cobham to work their magic ✨️

Whilst still in the garage I had a call from Jim of Shred & Butta ... "Kate, someone wants your bus for a vampire film being shot next week down in Shepperton, is that OK?!" Why not eh?!
I must remember look up that movie!

Now that the whole of the outside has been resprayed, an awesome job by Alex at Dave's Autos, also in Shepperton, she's immaculate on the outside (but still with original badges and logos) and due to have the internal refit completed over this winter!

Wolfie, named that because she's a 2001 International Wolfington 3800 from the USA 🇺🇸, has now been in several theming shoots, and now front page star of an 'unconventional wedding' magazine article!

✨️We are so thrilled to have been shortlisted as FINALISTS in the UK Quirky Wedding Awards 2024... in the 'Most unique caterers' category! ✨️

The team have worked their arses off this year and over a busy summer season developing NEW menus, new event set ups, being recommended at new venues and it seems that's been recognised... Nationally! I can't be more proud of our small but perfectly quirky little team! 🎊🌈

We aren't expecting to win the category, but the team at Quirky Weddings do organise an amazing event, so we can't wait to go and mingle with lots of other awesome suppliers from across the UK next month! 🎶✨️🎊

Check out these amazing images of our newest bus, "Wolfie!" in a photoshoot by Amy Davies Photography!

Wolfie is an American 2001 International Wolfington junior school bus, and although still mid-conversion, she should be finished on the inside over winter. She has had a total exterior re-furb by Dave's Autos in Shepperton, so she's a pretty bus on any event site!

Recently the truck has been used at two local weddings using our pop-up gazebo infront to build either a kitchen service area or a bar. Watch this space to see how the inside is going to develop!

Creating bespoke cocktails for the bride & groom is a fun and engaging part of wedding planning ❣️🍸 We loved it❣️


Cat & Hakim asked us to come up with a Hibiscus 🌺 style cocktail as a nod to his Ethiopian heritage and for the family guests who had flown all the way to Sussex for the cultural celebration in our local woodland at The Enchanted Glade in Ardingly! A cocktail 🍸 that could be served non-alcoholic and a fully punchy one!

We produced a Pomegranate & Hibiscus Spritz, with chambord, vodka & cointreau, fresh fruit & mint 🌿 which was long, fruity & refreshing!

The Pomegranate & Hibiscus Mocktail 🌺 had a double shot of the orange spice Seedlip spirit, which added a boost of lemongrass and spiced botanical flavours! Seedlip Drinks

The Ethiopian family dress, robes, beaded head dresses and garlands all looked absolutely stunning on the sunny 🌞 afternoon at the Enchanted Glade, and the guests loved their own wedding bespoke cocktails and cocktails to wash down their canapés!

We love serving our food and drink menus in these stunning, rustic venues across and beyond!

Wow... what an amazing TWO events this weekend!!! Not one, but TWO dream teams out in action, and two buses serving bespoke menus!

"Bella" our food truck was serving 150 guests for three days in a field near Uckfield for a corporate summer glamping party... brunch, lunch and dinner. What a fabulous setting!

"Wolfie", who is our newer bus and mid-conversion, was serving 100 wedding guests at the stunning Gote Barn in Ringmer from our new field kitchen ... We love that venue and the beautiful old barn❣️ Congratulations to the beautiful couple ❤️
We served a middle eastern style sharing feast in the afternoon, and then fish and chips & loaded fries for late night snacks, which all went down very well indeed!

We are so proud of our staff for smashing it at both venues, receiving fantastic feedback and many, many compliments to the chefs! Well done everyone... you rock!

🔥 What a scorcher at Glastonbury! 🔥

We are back in our favourite pitch in the east campervan fields. The smoothies, iced coffees, breakfasts, and late night toasties and loaded fries are flowing out!

We loved ❤️ the Glastonbury Festival ✨welcome✨️️ fireworks last night!!!

Congratulations 🎊 to Sinead & Theo who married at with a bubbly 🥂🍾 reception outside the beautiful farmhouse, and a ceremony on the lawns by the lily pond 🪷

We thoroughly enjoyed serving 135 guests a fully vegetarian and vegan buffet, and then our sourdough cheesy toasties from thr food truck for late night snacks!
