A followup on the Neck Gaiter discussion, from a Q+A with the doctors who published the study. I will compile some notes and make a post and website article, but for now:

the TL;DR, and I hesitate to post it, is a bit "we used a really thin gaiter we had on hand, the thicker the gaiter, the better, most likely". So keep that in mind when you choose your gaiters, thinner vs thicker, you can do a quick light test to compare how much light shines through.
Key points for our purposes at 3-4:00, 6-8:00, and 12:00-14:00 (and onwards in Q+A), and at 24:45-26ish. clarification on 'fleece', admiting it as a misnomer referring to a 92% polyester, 8% spandex mix. But apart from a few minutes mixed before 12:00 that are more about the method and process, I think it's all relevant to watch to understand the conversation.
