Have you a young Lego Master builder?

Well we have a competition for all Lego fans under 18.

You have from now until 11am on Saturday the 30th of October to create a vignette no bigger than 16x16x16 studs. The theme is based on the habitat/home of your favourite minifigure.

We will have an amazing prize for the overall winner and providing we get enough entrants we will have age category prizes also.

How to enter:
1. You must be available to bring it to the Dublin Brick Show between 11am-12midday on Saturday the 30th at the Red Cow Hotel.

Models must be collected between 4-5pm on Sunday 31st

We can not post back models, you must collect it.

The judging is scored on 4 categories
1. Originality
2. Use of building techniques
3. Attention to detail
4. The age of each participant is deducted from the first 3, this evens the playing field an older child might have.

Judges will judge all the models not knowing the child’s name or age. The age will be revealed after all judging is finished to give the final score and winner.

Judge’s decision is final.

This is suitable for all ages and should encourage creativity. All entrants get a certificate and a small prize for taking part.

You must PM us your child’s name and intention to enter before Friday 29th at 6pm in order to enter.

Good Luck !!!!!!

Hi

Anyone coming to Athlone tomorrow please note:
The busier time is the opening time of each show. If you wish to come a little later than opening time we will give you this time at the end of your slot.
We will open 30 minutes earlier at 9:30am tomorrow to alleviate this also.
We ask each person to take their own responsibility to social distance.
Play tables have hand sanitizer and notices on each to ask ALL users to use the sanitizer before playing with it. (Adults please free up your seat at the play table if other children are waiting to play.
The hotel has added more seating around the venue also.
Please note the shop area is very busy at the start, the minifigures are restocked regularly so if the shop is busy we would advise you to wait until it quietens down.

Just a little information for anyone attending our shows.
To be compliant with government guidelines we only sell tickets to fit 60% of the hotels room capacity.
Adults are asked to wear masks and provide covid digital certificates when presenting their tickets at the door.

If you are cautious of feeling over crowded perhaps arrive an hour after the slotted time.

We do not guarantee seats at the play tables but we do ask adults to leave the play tables to the children when the room looks busy.

Thank you.

Looking forward to seeing everyone in Athlone this weekend!

Welcome to our new page.

Due to new Facebook T&Cs we have had to change our name but rest assured we will still only be using Lego bricks at our shows.
