We are excited to announce that this Friday, October 7th, we are welcoming in the Fall season with our harvest pumpkin ale, Homecoming! 🍂
Each batch contains over 200lbs of sugar pumpkins, harvested locally from Sunnycrest Farm and roasted in the kitchen of New England's Tap House Grille! Lightly spiced with cinnamon and nutmeg.
We'll have brand new outdoor patio heaters and food from Donali Food Truck, so come hungry!
Cheers! 🍻
For the event today: Benson Park Cleanup, we are parked by the dog park. We aren't able to post in the actual event for some reason. We are in a red Sonata in the shade, meet us there for the supplies 🌿
Whoever farmed here before us had a serious addiction. All of these were pulled out of the wood line behind the acre we farm as we walked the goats to a patch of invasive plants to clear. As the goats were eating, I walked around cutting large bitter sweet vines off the trees they were climbing. Unlike our native vines that simply use their host trees to climb straight up, bittersweet wraps and girdles the tree, eventually killing it and taking it down.
“What a stupid plant,” I mused allowed. “Why would you kill the thing that is helping you stay alive.”
“Good question,” Nick answered, thick with sarcasm as he side eyed the pile of trash we picked up while walking through the woods. And he’s right, as humans we do the same thing.
This Earth is our home and for as much as we know right now, it’s the only option we have. Yet we treat it like it’s replaceable. We have to stop acting like invasive species that simply use and take and we have to start giving back or this home we have, this beautiful planet, is going to start looking like a drastically different place 🌎
On a side note, if you’re looking for a way to give back, check out - super cool people doing super cool things.
We love seeing stories like this ❤️
We had a great night at our Hampton Beach Cleanup! Shoutout to all the volunteers who showed up to help make a dent in the crazy amount of litter at Hampton Beach.
Over 100,000 marine animals are killed each year by plastic in our oceans. I challenge everyone to reduce their plastic use. A good start is using reusable bags when you go shopping.
Have a great weekend and remember, “don’t be an ass, throw away your trash” !
Anyone in the mood for some spaghettios?!
I challenge you pick up some litter today 💪🏽
Who has room for two? Soul sisters 𝗛𝗲𝗶𝗱𝗶 and 𝗟𝗮𝗰𝘆 are a bonded pair of sweet and friendly girls who are looking to go home together. Not everyone can take two rescue dogs home, but it's hard to understand why these two lovebugs are still here. Come to the shelter and fall in love with them this weekend!
