It’s official! The new dock is in at Redhead!

We will be conducting a trial water recreation period through September and will provide details soon. Remember, public vehicle access in the pit at Redhead is PROHIBITED.

The Minnesota Discovery Center will provide public shuttle access into the pit a few days a week and will be able to haul in personal kayaks and canoes as well. They will also be offering canoe and kayak rentals soon! Stay tuned for more details next week.

This project was made possible by a grant from the Chisholm Community Foundation and funding from the Minnesota Discovery Center - in an effort to create healthy lifestyle opportunities and enhance the lives of our local residents and visitors.
