Good Morning Indulgenteas🌸

I was asked the other day if I could do a salad in our Traditional afternoon tea instead of the savouries-pork pie, sausage roll and tarts. 🥗

Of course I obliged as we are always flexible with our menus. 🤩.

This had me wondering if the option of a salad would be a good alternative for all my lovely customers. 🥰

So, I’m now going to offer a mixed salad (as seen below) in place of savouries if that’s what someone would prefer. 🥗

Appreciation post. 🥰.

Every now and then Lancashire Post ask where’s the best place to go for afternoon tea.
But… there was a slight difference this time with the replies.
Afternoon tea delights got a few mentions by some of my lovely customers -saying about our deliveries and how good the food is etc.

WOW! I was very very surprised at these mentions ( used to always seeing the various local cafes you can go to) and so thoroughly appreciative.

Thank you for taking the time to mention the business name and also for the page tags.

It helps so much to get my small business name out there and new people taking a look.

Yesterday was the afternoon tea and music event at the ‘new’ Gregson Lane Community Centre. Afternoon tea provided by us and music by the talented Connor Banks.
It was such a lovely afternoon and I loved providing the teas and setting up all the China.
It was great having some of my friends and customers attend🥰
A couple of pictures below showing the beginnings of the tiers set up.
How I enjoy a scone 🤩 the fabulous servers for the afternoon,who looked fabulous in their pinnies and tea cup hat, who did an amazing job looking after everyone and making sure they always had pots of tea and coffee.

And lastly a picture of my sister and I (enjoying a lemon cake) she’s the best and was my right hand woman. 🥰

Yesterday along with our afternoon teas and Grazing boxes we made and delivered- we had our EHO visit to inspect our kitchen, knowledge, check paper work etc.

It was a busy day but I’m very pleased to say that for the third time now Afternoon Tea Delights has been given the highest score of 5 for Hygiene.

I’ve been busy with all of this so please bear with me for any messages that haven’t yet been answered. I will be going through them all later. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
