"From the moment we started planning our wedding, we knew that hiring a wedding planner was a must and from our very first consultation with Chandni, we knew we’d be in good hands with her. Throughout the entire process, Chandni was professional, understanding and flexible. Whenever we had a question or a concern, she was there to address them and make us feel at ease throughout the entire process. Her attention to detail is second to none and it is obvious she takes great pride in what she does.

When we started this process, we had no idea about vendors or a clear vision of what we wanted our big day to look like but with Chandni’s guidance and expertise we were able to pull off an incredible day that we will never forget. We were so blown away with how stunning our reception venue looked when we had our first look and this was in large part thanks to Chandni and Neel, who were there behind the scenes ensuring that our big day was stress free. Chandni’s calm and confident demeanour really set the tone for our day and we knew we’d just be able to enjoy our wedding festivities.

Our guests had nothing but good things to say about the evening and how well planned and organised it was. We cannot recommend Chandni and Neel and Weddings by Design highly enough. Their attention to detail, communication and organisation makes them the very best at what they do and we cannot thank them enough for all they have done to make our big day a success!"

It's almost 2024!!!

A huge thank you to all couples, vendors, friends & family for your support, love, friendship and laughs through 2023. It's been an epic year of weddings and we are grateful to be a part of so many wedding planning journeys.

My Journey

Hi, My name is Chandni Shah and thanks for stopping by. My journey into the wedding world began six years ago, when I was in possibly the same position you are in at the moment. Engaged, excited and freaking out! The thought of planning a wedding feels daunting. I’ve been there, done that. Now it’s time for you to learn from my mistakes. I didn’t hire a wedding planner! That meant long nights of research, checking for vendor reviews, getting quotes and pretending to know what is right from wrong all while working full time! The stress of not knowing if it was even going to all look good together on the day was overwhelming. I wished I’d hired a wedding planner!

This is when Weddings By Design was born. Providing wedding planning services that isn’t a luxury but an affordable necessity! I wanted to provide a service that is affordable but more than anything I want every bride, groom, couple and their families out there to be able to enjoy the special day without having to stress about the little details. I’ve made that my job now! You can relax and enjoy the process knowing that an accredited wedding planner is looking after your very special day.

Here at Weddings By Design, whether you have a vision, or no idea at all, we work with you to create the day of your dreams. We aim to make the entire process enjoyable, memorable and stress-free! Weddings By Design offers a range of services, from on the day coordination to entire wedding planning services. We realise that all couples are not the same so we work with you to tailor a package to suit your needs. We offer all initial consultations for free with no obligation.
