Today's Shop of the day : Lavender Lime is excited to celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2025, having opened in 2005. We are proudly located in Chattanooga, TN and love to welcome new and returning customers to our storefront located on East Brainerd Road. We also love our online friends as we meet up with them on our App, our website and our page.
Lavender Lime is owned and operated by Bekah Pipes/Kathy Skomp (daughter-in-law, mother-in-law). Along with the retail portion of our business, we have been designing quilting patterns for Moda Fabrics for over 15 years. You can find these available on our website as well as our shop.
Bekah comes from a previous nursing career and Kathy spent many years in the classroom teaching math and 15 years working as a Sales Representative for Moda Fabrics. They both love their opportunity to serve the quilting community.
Follow us so you do not miss all the fun events and opportunities we have planned.

We are Bits N Pieces Quilt Shop, started in Sept 2002 in Pelham NH.

As well as our website we also have a retail store (we will be celebrating 20 years in September 2022) if you need something, call the store and we'll be glad to help you.
We have over 10,000 bolts of fabric in stock, hundreds of books, notions and patterns. We offer machine quilting services, and longarm machine rentals.

We sell Handi Quilter longarm machines. We are the largest dealer in the New England area. We sell and service all types all over the area.

We are a Handi Quilter National Retailer, we are an HQ Way Award Recipient for the last 10 years, and also Top 25 in Sales since 2016.

Today We are learning about Farmer's Wife Quilt Shop.

Farmer's Wife Quilt Shop came about in early 2016. I had already been a shop owner since 2011 but was looking for a fresh start in our new home state of Indiana. My husband who's nickname is Farmer (given by me early in our dating life) obliviously had a huge role to play when he said well I needed to use something you know and love. And so Farmer's Wife was named! The joke is I farm just as much as he does so not only am I married to a Farmer I am a farmer too!

Let's learn about our shops! First up Farm Girl Quilting!

In 2014, Angie's son left for the Army and as any mother would be, her idle mind was in need of distraction. On the suggestion of a friend, Angie signed up for a beginners quilting class to try out something totally new. After the class ended, like so many of us...she was hooked! Angie found herself in a group of fellow quilters who dubbed themselves the "Magnificent 6" and she attributes her growth and success to these wonderful women. These quilting besties helped Angie to develop her style and vision for what Farm Girl Quilting would soon become. At home, her husband Pete was thrilled with Angie's new found passion as he grew up at the foot of his mothers sewing machine and has a deep appreciation for the craft.

Together, Angie and Pete ventured into opening a shop of their own that would offer fabric, notions, memory quilt making, longarm quilting, and machine service. With a growing inventory and customer base the need for a dedicated space was in the front of their minds. In keeping with their vision, it was only fitting the shop live on in a 30 year old barn sitting on their property...but that meant renovations were in need! Pete, aka the muscle, has been hard at work renovating the space for a grand opening to align with the 2023 All Florida Shop Hop on March 1st and has made so much progress! Angie is growing her longarm quilting services, bringing in adorable collections, and promoting the shop in each way she knows how...all while working full time!
