Introducing the one and only 💅

Sophie has been a resident and favourite at The Bottle for a while now - the Welsh native and Red Wa### label manager is not only an icon, but also a true music head and tastemaker, with her constant drive for discovery and appreciation of all era's of music mean she is constantly digging up gems.

She has delivered memorable sets on hallowed dance floors such as UNFOLD, Creatures and Fabric to spellbinding effect - and her ability to switch between genres means she delivers performances that touch on the best of all ends of the electronic music spectrum. It's no cliche to say that big things really are coming, with upcoming sets at Batu's En Masse festival amongst others, she is really marking herself out as a force to be reckoned with on the scene right now.

Part man and part amphibian, we can't wait to welcome to the tunnels on Saturday. The prolific producer, man of the moment and artist behind one of the most talked about live set’s on the circuit right now.

His modular, wonky grooves have been making waves for some time now and he has taken his bouncy squelch-laden sound to dancefloors across Europe this summer, including standout performances at Dimensions (slide 2) and Come Bye amongst others.

You also will have likely heard his infection earworm of a Kylie edit (slide 3) spawning from the USB's of globetrotting DJ's like Midland and Dr Banana from Glastonbury to the Balkans.

The K-Lone and Facta (LIVE) show will be touching down on October 19th for the debut performance of their new collaborative live set in the city.

The masterminds behind , both celebrated forward thinking producers in their own right, marry the groove, functionality and physicality of dance music with more challenging, esoteric ideas drawn from further afield - with their live set nestling in the sweet spot between bass-charged velocity and daydream reverie.

We are back for our final event before summer with a live into club event at Crofters featuring some homegrown up and coming talent.

📡 in the club we have Berwick debuting his new LIVE set for the first time in Bristol. The trailblaizing production wizard is no stranger to the Bristol scene, and with an upcoming release on sss, and his productions already getting plays in Bambanou's boiler room and regularly on NTS, we are hugely excited for what the future has instore for Berwick. Catch him playing 1 - 2 and then again straight after for a big closing b2b.📡

🍏Also opening up at Crofters we have ELA. A recent graduate of the Mixnights course, they have already picked up sets with Paradisco and at Stokes Croft block party. Their set at the mixnights showcase at love inn popper clean off, laying down acid house and bouncy psychedelic cuts to a full house. Catch ELA moving through the gears first up from 11 - 12 🍏

🛸 Holding down the dance before Berwick we have The Milkshake Boys, Bottle residents and Noods regulars, theyll be cranking up the pressure with curveball bassy cuts and weirdo house records 12 - 1 and 2 -3 🛸

This Friday we are descending upon with a lineup featuring some our favourite musicians doing it right now.

Introducing our artists:

Esther ( ) -
Owner of Wales first listening bar , singer, instrumentalist and also the general of our favourite monthly show, Esther's talents and contributions to the scene just keep on coming. Behind the wheels she plays a heady mixture of new beat, chug, wonky house and trance, and her selections at Noods parties and infamous Cardiff party have made her a staple DJ across the south west.

Tornado Wallace ( ) -
First blowing a gale as a forerunner of the new wave of Melbourne dance producers, Tornado Wallace’s distinct and eclectic electronics now find him in a constant rotation of both hemispheres, spending most of the year based in Berlin. We can't wait to have him.down for his Bristol debut, and expect to see him spinning funked out breakbeats, acid and trance pumpers.

We are so buzzing for this one on 29th of March at Dareshack.

We are very excited to be hosting Seoul-based Leftfield Ambient music producer/DJ duo SALAMANDA for their Bristol debut! ( )

The electronic duo have been making waves with their stunning albums released on international labels including Good Morning Tapes (FR), Human Pitch (US), one of our favourites and a recent collab with Bristol's own for what was one.of our favourite tracks from last year. They'll be playing a live set over Dareshacks new 'soundscape' surround sound system.

Supporting we have O$VMV$M, the work of Amos Childs (Jabu) and Sam Barrett (Neek, Gorgon Sound) who will be showcasing their melancholic sample heavy sound evident on their releases with Bristol mainstay Idle Hands with a DJ set.

And finally we have t l k opening up, a firm favourite of ours who will be playing a solo improv set with her textbook ethereal vocals and intricate synth work.

Whilst we ALL know how good HAAL and t l k are having both played shows for us before, we are also very excited to welcome who we have wanted to have down for a while. Based in Manchester their music carries 90’s influences, bridging shoe-gaze with industrial sounds and contemporary electronic music, echoing like a dreamlike and futuristic take on an old genre. With some killer releases on Bristols own , and they are not one to be missed!!

Taking place THIS FRIDAY at Crofters we have put together a lineup full of unique experimental, with two very exciting supports in and before bring their signature textured and freewheeling sound to the backroom.

Also serving up a FREE afterparty at .and_dagger with our very own and a DJ set from Crimewave. 😋

If you havent heard Janus yet but fancy some 1990s-style post-rock sounds with bursts of industrial noise and trip hop, then waste no time and get it in your ears!!

HEADLINING THIS FRIDAY - ORBURY COMMON

Fresh from the the release of their new EP ‘The Traditional Dance Of Orbury Common’ on , which we will say with our chest is one our favourite release of 2022 so far, we are very excited to be hosting the warped and freaky world of Orbury Common at Strange Brew.

Flitting between IDM, downtempo and sometimes Jungle, the record explores the primitive and visceral impulse to dance, and imagines scenes of communal frenzy, flailing limbs and vague humanoid shapes partaking in warped, beat-driven worship in the dark.

Support coming from darkwave favourites and a special guest being announced very soon!

We are very excited to be announcing our first ever day/night showcase at !

Playing live we have invited down Orbury Common, Fever103° + a very special guest, and The Milkshake Boys (DJ), featuring A/V Show and installation 🗿

Then, taking us into the night we have Berghain resident and unique techno producer Barker showcasing his signature sound live in the back room of Strange Brew. Supporting Barker we have DJ sets from Glances and Monoke b2b The Milkshake Boys 🌑

Entry to the club event is free with a ticket to the live show with Orbury Common, Fever103° etc (last entry 9pm)!

They keep on coming .. we are bringing three unique Bristol acts to Crofters on Easter Sunday for a night of textural sonics and improvisation.

NEW YEAR SAME US

We are aware of how fragile the current c*vid situation is, so announce this event with caution yet vigour.

Excited to be taking over once again on the 15/01/2022.

This is a line up we've had in the pipeline for quite some time now so are extremely excited and hopeful is goes ahead.

For the live proceedings, from 7pm - 10pm we have two very exciting Bristol acts & as well as one of our favourite bands, London based mutant No Wave Post-Punkers

Following straight on from this, we have two artists causing some serious damage at the moment, and who will be going b2b with one another well into the night, as well as support from

Due to the current state of affairs we will be asking people to take a Lateral Flow test within 24hrs of the event, not only to keep people safe, but to help keep music venues from closing once again, we really can't give the govt a sniff of a reason to shut things down again.

A lot of fun was had on Saturday down at for the Bristol leg of tour, big thanks to everyone who came down.

Our last show of the year is next Saturday the 4th of December, where we are hosting at the ethereal .

With an album coming out soon on and a string of psychedelia laced jazz infused earworms already dropped this year, Cousin Kula are definitely a band to watch.

Support coming from another genre ending Bristol act were super excited about in and then opening things up.

will also be present providing the soundtrack in-between acts and maybe singing their award winning version of in the bleak midwinter!
