Congratulations to the Bianchi brothers who came together at the NCAA Wrestling Championships in Philadelphia this weekend. From left to right, Paul, 2016 grad, is an assistant coach at Appalachian State, Matty, 2021 grad, wrestles for Little Rock, and Joey, 2019 grad, wrestles for Little Rock.

Paul coached three wrestlers who qualified over the weekend. Joey is a National qualifier and two-time Pac-12 champion. Matty is a Pac-12 champion, qualified for Nationals for the second straight year and earned All-American honors by finishing in 7th place at 157 pounds.

Congratulations to the Bianchi family and the three brothers, who are even better men than they are wrestlers.

Happy Tuesday everybody, we hope freestyle/greco season is off to a rockin’ start or some of you are picking up some rest to kick off the spring!

We will be getting into interviewing the Team State Champ coaches and 4-Timers over the course of the spring, and after an arduous selection process in determining the order (Steve drew names out of a hat), we have SCF Coach Joe Raygor on the docket first.

We won’t be doing these conversations live, but we will be recording tomorrow night so if you have any questions for Coach Raygor feel free to put them in the comments and we will do our best to ask all of them!
