We will be doing our preview show on Wednesday and are looking for some cool stories to share that helps our state get to know our schools and wrestlers on a deeper level.

Things we are looking for are new records set ( # of qualifiers), first time having a state qualifier or first qualifier in _____ years for a program, or any great personal story.

Just message us on our page please, this will help us get these stories into our notes right after opening messages as opposed to comments sometimes getting lost in the crowd.

Happy Sectional weekend everybody! Good luck to all of the athletes and coaches over the course of the next two days!

It’s a safe bet to say no one spent more time on the mat last night than Mineral Point’s Ryan Schael. After sparring with nearly all of his teammates in the time leading up to weigh-in’s, offering up an exhibition match with me was merely the next logical step. And as a host of a show called “Wisconsin Wrestler”, denying someone a match would just not be on brand. Ryan did what 4-Time State Champ Koy Hopke was unable to do and pinned me in a cradle, putting me at 0-2 in exhibition matches during the podcasting career. Adjustments are already being made for the next battle.

Team Sectionals is 20 minutes out from starting here in Mineral Point! #3 Aquinas vs. #4 IGH and #2 Mineral Point vs. Royall/Wonewoc-Center, followed by the finals Tune in on Rokfin!
