Friends....as you may or may not know, our classmate Rich Smith has recently been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He has been in the hospital for 21 days because of horrible side effects of the strong chemo. The plan is to be released Tuesday, July 16. I know he would love to hear from you....his address is

Classmates....a reminder that we will be hosting a silent auction at our Friday night event! We have many wonderful items for you to bid on such as wood crafts, fused glass plates, pottery items, jewelry and other lovely things made by the talented artisans in our class! We also have many gift cards to restaurants, attractions and theaters; gift baskets and other miscellaneous items you won't want to miss. All proceeds will be given back to LHS as a gift from the Class of '73. We will accept checks, cash or credit cards.

For those attending from out of town, the Holiday Inn only has rooms available on the 8th and 9th - NOTHING for the 10th so if you are staying longer, you'll need to find other accommodations. I am flying in on Allegiant and they only fly certain days so I'll be flying in on the 6th and out on the 11th.... I just booked a room at the TownePlace Suites for $109 a night. I've stayed there before and it is very nice. They have free breakfast, a full kitchen in each room, exercise room, etc.

We are planning on having a small silent auction at our Friday night event. The proceeds will be given to Lincoln High as a gift from our class. We have several donations from artistic classmates so if you are artistic in any way and would like to donate something for the auction, please let me know. A great big THANK YOU to everyone that has expressed interest in planning and attending our 50th reunion! The committee is hard at work in the initial planning stages and I will be posting updates as they happen here on this page. As things get scheduled, there will be deposits required for venues, catering, entertainment, etc and we are asking anyone that feels so inclined, if you would like to make a monetary donation personally or as a sponsorship for your business.
