Celebrating together with Noorderlicht Café’s last weekend of activities, since they will close for a big renovation ✨

COMAL = a smooth, flat griddle typically used in Mexico. A large seasoned cast iron plate used to make tortillas and blister chiles. Some comals are concave and made of barro (clay). These are still made and used by the indigenous peoples of Mexico and Central America.

Comalitas= two small female comales, in this case referring to two mexican women living in Amsterdam providing delicious homemade spicy Mexican food.
