Amongst the wave of new venues is The Old School, of which contains our newest installation that we are excited to announce: The Old School Atrium.
“Within the Old School Atrium you’ll find an installation that serves as the Captain’s personal inter-dimensional treasure room full of mystical artifacts picked up from his travels across space and time. The multimedia installation combines projection, physical structure and sound to bring festival-goers into an ethereal realm. The Old School Atrium is the creation of Second Brain, a student-led DIY art collective consisting of Gus Marsden, Rafferty Clark, Pen Wilson, and Treye K.”
The Atrium features projection art made by Treye K., two murals by Pen Wilson, and physical structure work by all four of us. Join us for our “full opening” with a special ambient set written by Gus Marsden (billed as Blanket Ghost), performed as an accompanying soundtrack to the space March 24th 6-6:40pm.
The venue will run from the 23rd-26th of March, and will feature a number of incredible performances. Included in the lineup is the shoegaze/dance noise project Fruits Of Karma led by Treye, playing on Saturday from 1:00-1:50pm!
