Plans are coming together for the village Jubilee celebrations... if you would like to get involved in any planning or just give us some ideas of what you would like please email

If you can just give an hour to make some calls, or distribute leaflets, maybe help plan the day or set up marquees, tables and chairs - all help will be gratefully received....

The idea is to make this a 4 day weekend of free events to remember for everyone in our community...

From Thursday 2nd to Sunday 5th June 2022 we will be celebrating the Queens Platinum Jubilee.
Plans are being being put together to do something on each of these days in the village to involve as many people as we can in some way.
Initial thoughts are village picnic, open gardens, sports/games afternoon, live music, lighting of the beacon and a fly past... just to get us started!
There is a small committee who are over seeing the days but we need people to help plan, make calls, set up and everything else that needs to be organised...!
