“Switch Focus utilise organic, recycled and upcycled materials to create streetwear with a difference.

Based in Cornwall, we’re as equally inspired by the natural and coastal as we are by the urban and industrial. We're obsessed with streetwear, and we put everything we’ve learned into our designs and practices.

Sustainability is non-negotiable for us, and we are actively working towards becoming carbon neutral within five years. Currently, we are collaborating with the University of Exeter to develop an Upcycled range. This initiative is just one way we plan to reach our sustainability goals.”

Scragglecat Vintage is fairly new to the vintage market scene. Owner Katie’s knowledge of vintage clothing comes from years of working in costume for tv and film.

The Scragglecat look is all about upmarket handpicked trendy vintage specialising in 60’s/ 70’s but ranging through all eras.

Nicola has been selling vintage from her bricks and mortar shop in the Cornish market town of Redruth for over 10 years now.

A regular at Sundowners, her stall is always packed full with hand picked vintage gems. From crazy print shirts to boho dresses to tweed waistcoats to denim jackets.

For the market in October, she will be bringing a selection of one of a kind cropped shirts and jackets and also some great vintage knitwear to take you through from Autumn to Winter. She's committed to making the last ever Sundowners the best ever Sundowners.

“Black Jacket Vintage started life as a little online business selling ladies vintage clothing, it blossomed into a bricks and mortar shop on Penzance high street in December 2020. Handpicked, curated, affordable and accessible to as many people as possible. From vintage workwear to 70s dresses, a wide variety of sizes and styles, all reflecting my love for Americana and retro pieces. I have 20 years experience in fashion retail, from a Saturday sales assistant to Visual Merchandising Manager, and I love vintage fashion. It’s uniqueness and originality inspire me everyday, and I love nothing more than sourcing beautiful pieces and seeing my customers walk out the door with something they will treasure.”

If I had a pound for every time someone asked me when the next sundowners was…

Well, I could buy a couple of steak dinners that’s for sure! 😂

Since starting Sundowner Vibes & Vintage Finds, a lot has changed. I now juggle a management job, and run my own business, and work on a few other projects - and slowly, time spare to work on sundowners is dwindling.

I already know that I sadly won’t continue these events next year, I just don’t have the time.

But - after speaking to many of our traders and visitors, I realised I couldn’t let this very special event go without one last hurrah.

Because, quite honestly, it’s special in the hearts to so many in the rich vintage community we have in our little part of the world, and also - because it’s bloody good fun.

So, here it is: the final announcement.

As ever, the weather proved last night that you can plan a pretty picnic but you can’t predict the weather…

So this is an even bigger thank you, to everyone who braved the rain and the mizzle to come along to Sundowners last night!

It was a wonderful night and on behalf of myself, the market and all of our traders, a huge thank you. Times are so hard for small businesses now, so seeing people come out and support our most sustainable small businesses with their hard earned cash and small amount of spare time is appreciated beyond belief.

I hope you all had as wonderful a night as us (even in the rain) and managed to bang yourselves some amazing vintage finds! ✨✌🏽

Sundowner Vibes & Vintage Finds is back tonight, from 7pm!

As Cornwall’s only vintage night market, we’ve pulled out all the stops with the amazing spinning the vinyl for us all night, serving up cocktails and their classic poke bowls, and loads of amazing vintage and sustainable traders ready with their wares!

Find us in from 7pm tonight - it’s looking like we’re gonna have to bring the sunshine, and luckily we have that in bucketloads! 🥳✨🌿🍻

Adding her beautiful illustrations to these garments, makes fashion fun again.

All Tinker's Wardrobe pieces are preloved items of clothing that are lovingly sourced and reworked with my own embroidered illustrations. By reworking preloved pieces every garment is planet friendly and totally unique.

And now for something entirely different but also not at all…

The art of a great vintage shop lies in taking the old, unloved and out of style and giving it new legs, a fresh look, a clean, fix, mend and make.

What Matt does from One Blue Eye isn’t so different - but he’s one of the pioneers in reducing pollution across the beaches in Cornwall and making huge changes not just to what we physically see on the beaches around us, but shifting mindsets too.

Collecting post consumer and ocean plastics washed up, Matt then processes these into new, reusable items, such as jewellery, plant pots, surf wax combs and more.

Taking trash and making brand new treasure is kind of what vintage is all about, but not usually as literally as this - and that’s why it was a no brainer to have Matt and his brand with us this Sunday to talk about his work, and sell his products.

Lovely Erin from is a fairly new player in the vintage game - but from her beautiful hand picked collection, you’d think she’s a seasoned pro.

Whimsical sundresses mixed with suede, denim and sheepskin - this combination makes for the most dreamy outfits, and will definitely have you covered!

Another favourite is back in the market - hailing from Falmouth, the guys behind are streetwear specialists and bag all the best brands for you!

From surfwear faves like Quiksilver and Billabong, to workwear classics such as Carhartt, they bring a fresh take on vintage to the market and specialise in the perfect vintage denim, t shirts, and sweaters.

Vintage Religion was created in 2019 by Ben Penrose, a college student who loved sustainable fashion. It was originally the want to stand out that drew Ben to vintage clothing. Vintage fashion was a way he could express himself finding rare and interesting clothing that you would not see anyone else wearing. He distinctly remembers not being able being able to afford designer clothing that others were wearing but found a more affordable version in vintage for him and his friends.


Since 2019, Vintage Religion has come a long way. From running out of a small space in the corner of Ben's room to now having multiple international suppliers, winning awards and growing rapidly.

Daisy Rain Vintage is a bricks and mortar Vintage Shop based in the small market town of Redruth. Every Summer, Nicola who runs the business loves to take her collection of hand curated vintage out on the road to vintage fairs. She loves the bright colours and pretty prints that dominate much of summer vintage fashion. The first in our trader line up is the brilliant Kev from based in Redruth!

This little hub of music lovers and avid vinyl collectors is a staple on Redruth high street, and we are so so excited that they’re joining us for yet another Sundowners!

Bringing both vintage and new records across all the genres, this is the perfect stall to soak up some real retro vibes, flicking through vinyl and discovering new albums by long forgotten bands.

Kev & his extensive record collection will be joining us on Sunday 30th July from 7pm - it’s free entry, there’s food, drink and loads of great traders…
